Cowper-Symonds and Johnson-Cook dynamic constitutive relations are used to study the influence of both strain rate effect and temperature variation on the material intrinsic length scale in strain gradient plasticity. The material intrinsic length scale decreases with increasing strain rates, and this length scale increases with temperature.

Recently, Chen and Gao [Chen, S., Gao, H., 2007. Bio-inspired mechanics of reversible adhesion: orientation-dependent adhesion strength for non-slipping adhesive contact with transversely isotropic elastic materials. J. Mech. Phys. solids 55, 1001-1015] studied the problem of a rigid cylinder in non-slipping adhesive contact with a transversely isotropic solid subjected to an inclined pulling force. An implicit assumption made in their study was that the contact region remains symmetric with respect to the center of the cylinder. This assumption is, however, not self-consistent because the resulting energy release rates at two contact edges, which are supposed to be identical, actually differ from each other. Here we revisit the original problem of Chen and Gao and derive the correct solution by removing this problematic assumption. The corrected solution provides a proper insight into the concept of orientation-dependent adhesion strength in anisotropic elastic solids. (c) 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

High-energy ion emission from intense-ultrashort (30fs) laser-pulse- cooled deuterium-cluster (80K) interaction is measured. The deuterium ions have an average energy 20keV, which greatly exceeds Zweiback's expectation [Phys. Rev. Lett. 84 (2000) 2634]. These fast deuterium ions can be used to drive fusion and have a broad prospect.

We present an experimental scheme of a cold atom space clock with a movable cavity. By using a single microwave cavity, we find that the clock has a significant advantage, i.e. the longitudinal cavity phase shift is eliminated. A theoretical analysis has been carried out in terms of the relation between the atomic transition probability and the velocity of the moving cavity by taking into account the velocity distribution of cold atoms. The requirements for the microwave power and its stability for atomic pi/2 excitation at different moving velocities of the cavity lead to the determination of the proper working parameters of the rubidium clock in frequency accuracy 10(-17). Finally, the mechanical stability for the scheme is analysed and the ways of solving the possible mechanical instability of the device are proposed.

基于中国东北样带(NECT)30个植被样方调查和表土孢粉资料,从个体、群落水平研究了孢粉-植被关系,结果表明,孢粉类型与植被关系密切,在 = 0.05的显著性水平上,相关系数大于0.5;表土孢粉组合与植物群落间有较大的相似性,相似系数大于50%。采用定量描述花粉与植物关系的参数:联合指数(association)A、超代表性指数(over-representation)O、低代表性指数(under-representation)U、相关系数(correlation coefficient)C和代表性系数(representation coefficient)R等值,应用TWINSPAN分类、PCA排序和回归分析,把表土花粉类型划分为4类:具代表性类群组Group1,它们能正确反映植被;超代表性类群组Group2,它们常具有高花粉值与植被不成比例;低代表性类群组Group3,它们的花粉很难分离提取;以及低代表性类群的Group4,其花粉在土壤地层中较常见;指出一些常见花粉类型:松(Pinus)、桦(Betula)、栎(Quercus)、椴(Tilia)、槭(Acer)、榆(Ulmus)、蒿(Artemisia)、藜(Chenopodiaceae)、禾本科(Gramineae)和莎草科(Cyperaceae)的回归参数在东部森林区和西部草原区是有变化的,因此回归参数在应用于古植被恢复中要注意适用范围。 以Biomization模型为基础,根据植物的生理生态特性,定义了NECT孢粉类型的植物功能型(PETs)各种生物群区(Biome)的PFTs组合,构建了经表土孢粉检验的适用于NECT的以孢粉数据为驱动的模型框架,该模型模拟的生物群区与其化指标(气候、植物生理、土壤等)模拟划分的BIOME(Holdrige, BIOME3)是可比的,与植被类型有较好的对应性。 根据29剖面(986个样品)的孢粉数据,重建了NECT 6 kaB.P以来的生物群区。从时空二方面阐述了NECT6kaB.P以来生物群区的分布特点: (1)6ka B. P是一暖湿期,气温比现在高1~4℃,降水比现在多50%。落叶阔叶林分最广,面积最大。森林草原、落叶阔叶林、针阔混交林向西延伸最远。 (2)5ka B. P 是一降温期,气温比现在低2℃,降水多30%。有苔原、寒温带针叶林分布。 (3)4ka B. P是一暖湿期,气温比现在高1~2℃,降水比现在多50%。针阔光林和森林草原有最大分布面积。 (4)3Ka-2kaBP的气温与现代相似,降水比现在多20%左右。与4Ka B. P相比,森林和森林草原过渡带都向东移动。 (5)1Ka B. P的气温与现代相似,降水比现在多10%左右。草原向东大幅度扩张,森林分布面积减小。 (6)东部森林,中部森林草原,西部草原的分布格局的3Ka B. P基本确定,此后随着气候的不断变干冷,草原向东扩张。 (7)森林向扩张最大距离的时期发生在6Ka B. P,此时也是森林草原向西扩张最远时期。落叶阔叶林、针阔混交林、森林草原向西移动最大距离的时间是6Ka B. P,草原向西移动最远距离的时期发生在3Ka B. P。

对松口蘑和假松口蘑进行ITS 序列测序,通过DNAStar 软件比较分析,发现松口蘑与 假松口蘑的5.8S rDNA 序列完全一致,ITS1 和ITS2 呈现不同程度的多态性。松口蘑ITS 序列 长度为601bp,假松口蘑ITS 序列长度为563bp。设计了扩增松口蘑和假松口蘑ITS1 的特异性 引物,能够快速地区别松口蘑与假松口蘑。

Poly[2-methoxy-5-(3',7'-dimethyloctyloxy)-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (MDMO-PPV) capped PbS nanorods about 100 nm in diameter and 400 nm in length were synthesized via a hydrothermal route in toluene and dimethylsulfoxide solution. By blending the PbS nanorods with the MDMO-PPV as the active layer, bulk heterojunction solar cells with an indium tin oxide (ITO)/polyethylenedioxythiophene/polystyrenesulphonate (PEDOT PSS)/MDMO-PPV PbS nanorods/Al structure were fabricated in a N-2 filled glove box, Current density-voltage characterization of the devices showed that the solar cells with PbS nanorods hybrid with MDMO-PPV as active layer were better in performance than the devices with the polymer only. High-density InAs nanowires embedded in an In0.52Al0.48As matrix are fabricated in situ by molecular beam epitaxy on (100) InP. The average cross section of the nanowires is 4.5 x 10 nm(2). The linear density is as high as 70 wires/mu m. The spatial alignment of the multilayer arrays exhibit strong anticorrelation in the growth direction. 藏文属于拼音文字,她的书写规则与英语书写规则一样是从左向右,从上到下,但每个单词之间没有空格,只用音节符把每个单词给分隔开。根据藏文文法,藏文的换行只能发生在音节符、单垂符,双垂符与空格的后面。目前主流浏览器(如Firefox,Netscape等)都不能处理藏文的这一断行特性,所以这些浏览器无法正常显示藏文文本,如Firefox将整个一段没有空格文本当作一个单词,造成在屏幕的右边无法换行。结果是用户必须拖动鼠标来浏览整篇文章,给用户带来了很大的麻烦。又由于藏文中大部分的拼音字母的宽度是不同的,在编写HTML文档时候也无法根据藏文字符串的多少来决定字符串的长度。该算法将采用了一个粗略的方法得到一个字符串长度的近似值,再根据行宽的限制在字符串的适当的位置找到一个可断行点进行断行。虽然得到的是近似值,但是基本上解决了主流浏览器无法处理藏文排版的问题。
