The highly pure and active photosystem II (PSII) complex was isolated from Bangia fusco-purpurea (Dillw) Lyngb., an important economic red alga in China, through two steps of sucrose density gradient ultracentrifugation and characterized by the room absorption and fluorescence emission spectra, DCIP (2,6-dichloroindophenol) reduction, and oxygen evolution rates. The PSII complex from B. fusco-purpurea had the characteristic absorption peaks of chlorophyll (Chl) a (436 and 676 nm) and typical fluorescence emission peak at 685 nm (Ex = 436 nm). Moreover, the acquired PSII complex displayed high oxygen evolution (139 mu mol O-2/(mg Chl h) in the presence of 2.5 mM 2,6-dimethybenzoqinone as an artificial acceptor and was active in photoreduction of DCIP (2,6-dichloroindophenol) by DPC (1,5-diphenylcarbazide) at 163 U/(mg Chl a h). SDS-PAGE also suggested that the purified PSII complex contained four intrinsic proteins (D1, D2, CP43, and CP47) and four extrinsic proteins (33-kD protein, 20-kD protein, cyt c-550, and 14-kD protein).

A graded piezoelectric composite consisting of a spherically anisotropic graded piezoelectric inclusion imbedded in an infinite nonpiezoelectric matrix, with the physical properties of the graded spherical inclusion having a power-law profile with respect to the radial variable r, is studied theoretically. Under an external uniform electric field, the electric displacement field and the elastic stress tensor field of this spherically anisotropic graded piezoelectric composite are derived exactly by means of displacement separation technique, based on the governing equations in the dilute limit. A piezoelectric response mechanism, in which the effective piezoelectric response vanishes along the z direction (or x,y directions), is revealed in this kind of graded piezoelectric composites. Furthermore, it is found that the effective dielectric constant decreases (or increases) with the volume fraction p of the inclusions if the exponent parameter k of the grading profile is larger (or smaller) than a critical value. The westward drift is one of the most important characteristics of the secular variations in the main geomagnetic field. The drift exists not only in the main field itself, but also in the secular variation field of the main field. Based on the International Geomagnetic Reference Field (IGRF) models for 1900-2000 and the secular variation model for the period 2000-2005, the characteristics of the westward drift are studied in this paper on several aspects, such as, the bulk rotation and differential rotation of the main field, the dipersion of the drift rates, as well as the westward drift in the secular variation field. The bulk drift and its temporal changes in the main field are analyzed. The results show that the average drift rate during 20th century is 0.183°/α, and the transitions of the drift rate are closely related with the occurrence of geomagnetic jerks. The calculation of the westward drift at various latitudes reveals a latitudinal dependence of the westward drift rate, implying that the geomagnetic field rotates in a differential fashion, instead of rigid rotation. The maximum westward drift is found near the 15°X, Y and Z.

利用YJ-3000t压力机,在2.0GPa、室温至1200℃条件下,测量了新疆库地地区斜长角闪岩的纵波速度(vp)和力学品质因子(Q值)。实验结果表明:斜长角闪岩的vp和Q值随温度的升高而降低,在升温的初始阶段,vp和Q值随温度下降的幅度较小,随着温度的升高其下降的幅度逐渐增大;由于斜长角闪岩的各向异性,导致了在三个方向上vp随温度而下降的幅度显著增大时的温度不同,其中x和y方向为812℃,z方向为673℃。而在各方向上的Q值随温度下降的幅度显著增大时的温度相差不大,约为812℃。观察回收的实验产物表明:当温度大于647℃时,产物中开始出现熔体,vp在x和y方向上的下降幅度没有明显的变化,而在x方向上的下降幅度增大;此时熔体对Q值的影响不大。当温度大于812℃时,产物中的熔体含量明显增多,vp和Q值下降的幅度都显著增大。据此认为,部分熔融是弹性波速度减小和衰减增大的主要原因.
