We demonstrate that the parametric resonance in a magnetic quadrupole trap can be exploited to cool atoms by using Bird's method. In our programme the parametric resonance was realized by anisotropically modulating the trap potential. The modulation frequency dependences of temperature and fraction of the trapped atoms are explored. Furthermore, the temperature after the modulation as functions of the modulation amplitude and the mean elastic collision time are also studied. These results are valuable for the experiment of parametric resonance in a quadrupole trap.

The single ionization of an He atom by intense linearly polarized laser field in the tunneling regime is studied by S- matrix theory. When only the first term of the expansion of the S matrix is considered and time, spatial distribution, and fluctuation of the laser pulse are taken into account, the obtained momentum distribution in the polarization direction of laser field is consistent with the semiclassical calculation, which only considers tunneling and the interaction between the free electron and external field. When the second term, which includes the interaction between the core and the free electron, is considered, the momentum distribution shows a complex multipeak structure with the central minimum and the positions of some peaks are independent of the intensity in some intensity regime, which is consistent with the recent experimental result. Based on our analysis, we found that the structures observed in the momentum distribution of an He atom are attributed to the " soft" collision of the tunneled electron with the core.

报道了一种重量轻、功耗低、适合于小飞机防撞系统应用的小型激光测距仪。系统基于脉冲激光测距原理,采用905nm半导体脉冲激光器、电感升压式偏置高压电源和可编程逻辑器件(PLD),研制出重量不大于100g,功耗不大于625mW,测量范围100m,盲区3.0m,分辨率±1m的机载小型激光测距仪。实验测试结果表明,其各项技术性能指标符合无人驾驶小飞机防撞系统的应用要求。

色散管理孤子光波系统的色散图周期由具有正负色散值的两段光纤组成,并且在系统中周期性放置集中放大器及滤波器装置。采用变分法获得了描述此种系统性能的常微分方程组,并利用这组方程数值研究了各种参量对孤子传输性能的影响。研究结果表明,虽然从整体趋势上看,当要求色散管理孤子有较好的稳定性时,应适当降低系统的色散管理强度,但在一定条件下,调整光纤放大器的位置以及正负色散光纤的色散差值,可同时获得相对较大的色散管理强度和好的孤子稳定性;总体来讲,集总放大器的位置会对孤子传输的稳定性、色散管理孤子的能量增强因子、脉冲最佳

激光功率密度达到太瓦级时,光学激光薄膜破坏中雪崩机制占主导地位.研究雪崩破坏机理,必然涉及到电子吸收激光能量的速率和电子损耗能量的速率,这些都与电子和声子的散射有密切的联系.所以,电子受到的散射速率是研究雪崩机制的前提和基础.本文分析了截断散射声子波矢对散射速率的影响,得到散射速率与电子能量的依赖关系,与其他理论及实验结果一致.同时还对耦合参数进行了修正,得到了依赖声子波矢的耦合参数,修正结果表明在不改变散射速率与高能电子能量依赖关系的基础上,散射速率整体降低了.

Scattered with numerous salt lakes and approximate to 2,700-3,200 m above sea level, the giant Qaidam inland basin on the northern Tibetan Plateau has experienced continuing aridification since the beginning of the Late Cenozoic as a result of the India-Asia plate collision and associated uplift of the Tibetan Plateau. Previous evidence of aridification comes mainly from evaporite deposits and salinity-tolerant invertebrate fossils. Vertebrate fossils were rare until recent discoveries of abundant fish. Here, we report an unusual cyprinid fish, Hsianwenia wui, gen. et sp. nov., from Pliocene lake deposits of the Qaidam Basin, characterized by an extraordinarily thick skeleton that occupied almost the entire body. Such enormous skeletal thickening, apparently leaving little room for muscles, is unknown among extant fish. However, an almost identical condition occurs in the much smaller cyprinodontid Aphanius crassicaudus (Cyprinodonyiformes), collected from evaporites exposed along the northern margins of the Mediterranean Sea during the Messinian desiccation period. H. wui and A. crassicaudus both occur in similar deposits rich in carbonates (CaCO3) and sulfates (CaSO4), indicating that both were adapted to the extreme conditions resulting from the ariclification in the two areas. The overall skeletal thickening was most likely formed through deposition of the oversaturated calcium and was apparently a normal feature of the biology and growth of these fish.

Dive-depth and swim-speed of a juvenile and an adult free-ranging, Yangtze finless porpoises (Neophocaena phocaenoides) were observed using velocity-time-depth recorders in an oxbow of the Yangtze River. In total, 8222 individual dives were recorded over 59 hours. Two dive types, deep-dive (greater than or equal to 2.7 m) and shallow-dive. were recognized. Horizontal travel distances of two finless pot-poises in a day were 94.4 km and 90.3 km, which were longer than those of oceanic relative species (harbor porpoises, Phocoena phocoena). Although the shallow water limited the maximum dive-depth, dive-duration, and bottom-time of finless porpoises were similar to the harbor porpoises. A sudden drop of swim-speed below 0.25 m s(-1) was frequently observed nearby the maximum dive-depth. This seemed to indicate "turning, around" behaviour, possibly during prey pursuit. In a search for the mechanism of the induced reduction reaction that occurred in X-ray photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) depth profiles measured experimentally on CeO2/Si epilayers grown by ion beam epitaxy (IBE), several possibilities have been checked. The first possibility, that the X-ray induces the reaction, has been ruled out by experimentation. Other possible models for the incident-ion induced reaction, one based on short-range interaction (direct collision) and the other based on long-range potential accompanied with the incident-ions, have been tested by simulation on computer. 提出了一个基于分组密码的hash函数体制,它的rate小于1但却具有更高的效率,同时,这个hash函数可以使用不安全的压缩函数进行构造,降低了对压缩函数安全性的要求.首先,在黑盒子模型下对这个新的体制的安全性进行了证明,然后给出了能够用于构造该体制的使用分组密码构造的压缩函数,最后通过实验对比发现,新hash函数的速度比rate为1的hash函数快得多.实验结果表明,除了rate以外,密钥编排也是影响基于分组密码hash函数效率的重要因素,甚至比rate影响更大.该体制只有两个密钥,不需要进行大量的密钥扩展运算,大大提高了基于分组密码hash函数的效率,而且该体制可以使用现有的分组密码来构造.

FOX是最近推出的系列分组密码,它的设计思想基于可证安全的研究结果,且在各种平台上的性能优良.本文利用碰撞攻击和积分攻击相结合的技术分析FOX的安全性,结果显示碰撞-积分攻击比积分攻击有效,攻击对4轮FOX64的计算复杂度是2^45.4,对5轮FOX64的计算复杂度是2^109.4,对6轮FOX64的计算复杂度是2^173.4,对7轮FOX64的计算复杂度是2^237.4,且攻击所需数据量均为2^9;也就是说4轮FOX64/64、5轮FOX64/128、6轮FOX64/192和7轮FOX64/256对本文攻击是不免疫的.

主要探讨了基于MD方式构造hash函数时平衡度的保持问题,说明了压缩函数满足何种条件时hash函数能够取得最好的平衡度,提出了局部平衡度的概念,并利用此概念解决了压缩函数局部平衡度与hash函数平衡度的关系问题.这对于未来的hash函数的设计有非常重要的意义.

An important concept proposed in the early stage of robot path planning field is the shrinking of the robot to a point and meanwhile expanding of the obstacles in the workspace as a set of new obstacles. The resulting grown obstacles are called the Configuration Space (Cspace) obstacles. The find-path problem is then transformed into that of finding a collision free path for a point robot among the Cspace obstacles. However, the research experiences obtained so far have shown that the calculation of the Cspace obstacles is very hard work when the following situations occur: 1. both the robot and obstacles are not polygons and 2. the robot is allowed to rotate. This situation is even worse when the robot and obstacles are three dimensional (3D) objects with various shapes. Obviously a direct path planning approach without the calculation of the Cspace obstacles is strongly needed. This paper presents such a new real-time robot path planning approach which, to the best of our knowledge, is the first one in the robotic community. The fundamental ideas are the utilization of inequality and optimization technique. Simulation results have been presented to show its merits.

An important characteristic of virtual assembly is interaction. Traditional di-rect manipulation in virtual assembly relies on dynamic collision detection, which is very time-consuming and even impossible in desktop virtual assembly environment. Feature-matching isa critical process in harmonious virtual assembly, and is the premise of assembly constraint sens-ing. This paper puts forward an active object-based feature-matching perception mechanism and afeature-matching interactive computing process, both of which make the direct manipulation in vir-tual assembly break away from collision detection. They also help to enhance virtual environmentunderstandability of user intention and promote interaction performance. Experimental resultsshow that this perception mechanism can ensure that users achieve real-time direct manipulationin desktop virtual environment.

冲突是协同图形编辑系统中的常见现象,合理地解决冲突是图形协同编辑的关键问题。讨论了协同图形编辑系统冲突消解问题,主要研究内容包括基于时间和空间干涉的冲突检测策略、交互事务分组策略,以及基于事务相关树的冲突消解策略。最后以手势为交互手段开发了一个采用冲突消解策略的协同图形编辑原型系统,目前该系统已经试用。

用分子动力学模拟方法研究甲烷水合物热激法分解,系统地研究注入340 K液态水的结构Ⅰ型甲烷水合物的分解机理.模拟显示水合物表层水分子与高温液态水分子接触获得热能,分子运动激烈,摆脱水分子间的氢键束缚,笼状结构被破坏.甲烷分子获得热能从笼中挣脱,向外体系扩散.热能通过分子碰撞从外层传递给内层水分子,水合物逐层分解.对比注入277K液态水体系模拟结果,得出热激法促进水合物分解.
Thermal stimulation on dissociation of methane hydrate was investigated with molecular dynamics simulation. The dissociation mechanism of methane hydrate with structure Ⅰ was investigated systematically by injecting heated, liquid water of 340 K. The results showed that when the water molecules on hydrate surface are made in contact with high temperature liquid water, they obtain heat energy, and with the obtained energy the water molecules move intensively, breaking the hydrogen bond between water molecules, and destroy the clathrate structure. In addition, methane molecules that have obtained heat energy, break away from the clathrate and diffuse into liquid. Due to heat energy being transferred into inside layer from outside layer through collision between molecules, the hydrate is dissociated layer by layer. Comparing the effects of liquid water with different temperatures of 340 and 277 K on hydrate dissociation, it is concluded that the thermal stimulation promotes dissociation of the hydrate.
