We demonstrated in this paper an electrospinning technique could be employed to prepare the single layer macroporous films and fibrous networks of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA). A crucial element using electrospinning on the development of these electrospun structures was to shorten the distance of from the needle tip to the collector (L), which resulted in the bond of the wet fibers deposited on the collector at the junctions. The morphologies and average pore size of electrospun structures of PVA were mainly predominated by L and the time of collecting wet fibers on the collector. In addition, experimental results showed that an increase of the PVA concentration or a decrease of the applied voltage could also diminish slightly the average pore size of electrospun productions. Furthermore, a 60 degrees C absolute ethanol soak to PVA electrospun production led them to be able to stabilize in water for 1 month against disintegration. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) demonstrated that the 60 degrees C ethanol soak enhanced the degree of crystallinity of PVA production. The structural characteristic of macroporous films and networks in combination with their easy processability suggests potential utility in issue engineering applications.

A combination of microcontact printing and block copolymer nanoreactors succeeded in fabricating arrays of silver nanoparticle aggregates. A complex solution of polystyrene-block-poly(4-vinylpyridine) micelles and silver salt was used as an ink to form thin films or droplets on polydimethylsiloxane stamp protrusions. After these complex aggregates were printed onto silicon substrates under controlled conditions, highly ordered arrays of disklike, dishlike, and dotlike complex aggregates were obtained. A Subsequent oxygen reactive ion etching treatment yielded arrays of silver nanoparticle aggregates.

The substrates with regular patterns of self-assembly monolayers (SAMs) produced by microcontact printing with octadecyltrichlorosilane (OTS) was employed to direct thin polystyrene dewetting to fabricate ordered micrometer scale pattern. The pattern sizes and pattern fashion can be manipulated by controlling the experimental parameters. The pattern formation mechanisms have been discussed. The dewetting pattern can be transferred to form PDMS stamp for future microfabrication process.

The pattern evolution processes of thin polystyrene (PS) film on chemically patterned substrates during dewetting have been investigated experimentally. The substrates have patterns of self-assembly monolayers produced by microcontact printing with octadecyltrichlorosilane. Optical microscopy and atomic force microscopy images reveal that ordered micrometer scale pattern can be created by surface direct dewetting. Various pattern sizes and pattern complexities can be achieved by controlling the experimental parameters. The dewetting pattern has been transferred to form PDMS stamp for soft lithography.

A digital image analysis(DIA) technique can be applied directly to the image obtained by polarizing microscope. The time-resolved DIA apparatus including image collecting, showing and data analysis has been home-made. As an example, it has been used to study the banded spherulite in the blends of poly(epsilon-caprolactone) (PCL) and poly(styrene-ran-acrylonitrile) (SAN).

A novel Prussian blue chemically modified electrode (CME) was constructed and characterized for liquid chromatography electrochemical detection (LCEC) of catecholamines. Both anodic and cathodic peaks could be obtained by monitoring at constant applied potential at anodic and slightly cathodic potential ranges (0.3-0.7 and -0.2-0.1 V vs. SCE), respectively. When arranged in a series configuration, using the modified electrodes as generating and collecting detectors, extremely high effective collection efficiencies of 0.91 (for norepinephrine) and 0.58 (for dihydroxyphenylacetic acid) were achieved in dual-electrode LCEC for catecholamines; and a linear response range over 3 orders of magnitude and a detection limit of 10 pg were obtained with a downstream CME as the indicating detector.

The Bohai Sea was the site of the Chinese national GLOBEC programme. During the June 1997 cruises of R/V Science No.1, observations and experiments on zooplankton feeding were conducted. At five 48 h time-series stations the following observations and measurements on zooplankton were carried out: (1) diurnal vertical migration, by collecting samples at different layers every 3 h with a closing net; (2) diurnal feeding rhythms, by gut pigment analysis; and (3) ingestion rate, by both gut pigment analysis and the dilution method. A classification by body size was used to deal with the diversity of species and developmental stages of zooplankton assemblages. Samples were separated into three size groups: small (200-500 mu m), medium (500-1000 mu m) and large (> 1000 mu m). The results showed that the copepods (Calanus sinicus, Paracalanus parvus, Acartia bifilosa and Centropages mcmurrichi) performed clear diurnal vertical migrations. However, their behaviour was different at different stations. The variation in gut pigment content over the 24 h cycle showed strong diurnal feeding rhythms, particularly for the large size group. Gut pigment contents reached their daily maximum during the time from dusk to midnight (18:00-24:00). The peak value was about 10 times the minimum observed in the daytime. The in situ daily grazing rate, based on gut pigment contents and evacuation experiments, was 4.00-12.65 ng chla ind(-1) day(-1) for the small size group, 5.99-66.58 ng chla ind(-1) day(-1) for the medium size group and 31.31-237.13 ng chla ind(-1) day(-1) for the large size group. The copepods consumed only a small part (2.90-13.52%) of the phytoplankton biomass hut about 77% of the daily production. The grazing mortality rate of phytoplankton by microzooplankton (<200 mu m) measured by the dilution method ranged from 0.43 to 0.69 day(-1) The calculated daily consumption of phytoplankton biomass was 35-50%, and 85-319% of the potential production.

A novel, simple and accurate fingerprint method was developed using high-performance liquid chromatography-photodiode array detection (HPLC-DAD) for the quality control of Qianghuo, a Tibetan folk and Chinese herbal medicine used as a diaphoretic, an antifebrile and an anodyne. For the first time, the feasibility and advantages of employing chromatographic fingerprint were investigated and demonstrated for the evaluation of Qianghuo by systematically comparing chromatograms of aqueous extracts with the professional analytical software recommended by State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA). Our results revealed that the chromatographic fingerprint combing similarity evaluation could efficiently identify and distinguish raw herbs of Qianghno from different sources and different species. The effects on Notopterygium forbesii Boiss (Apiaceae) chromatographic fingerprints resulted from collecting locations, harvesting time were also examined. (c) 2006 Elsevier lrelanc Ltd. Forage selection plays a prominent role in the process of returning cultivated lands back into grasslands. The conventional method of selecting forage species can only provide attempts for problem-solving without considering the relationships among the decision factors globally. Therefore, this study is dedicated to developing a decision support system to help farmers correctly select suitable forage species for the target sites. After collecting data through a field study, we developed this decision support system. It consists of three steps: (1) the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), (2) weights determination, and (3) decision making. In the first step, six factors influencing forage growth were selected by reviewing the related references and by interviewing experts. Then a fuzzy matrix was devised to determine the weight of each factor in the second step. Finally, a gradual alternative decision support system was created to help farmers choose suitable forage species for their lands in the third step. The results showed that the AHP and fuzzy logic are useful for forage selection decision making, and the proposed system can provide accurate results in a certain area (Gansu Province) of China.

现场总线在通信传输过程中,会受到各种通信故障的影响,而现场总线与功能安全的结合可降低这种影响。该文描述EPA功能安全通信模型,针对通信传输过程中可能出现的通信错误,采用时间戳、序列号、CRC校验等功能安全通信技术。给出EPA功能安全协议层的报文结构,阐述功能安全协议层的具体实现过程。

网络状态信息收集协议既要保证信息收集的准确性、实时性,又要保证协议算法的轻量级特性。为解决上述矛盾问题,提出了一种轻量级的、能量有效的、基于无损聚合的层次分簇数据收集机制(QTBDC)。QTBDC首先对网络节点编码并在节点间建立起一个逻辑层次簇结构,然后利用各个子簇状态数据的相似性和编码的连续性,实现了网内无损聚合。该监测机制使得网络状态信息的收集在不丢失数据细节信息的情况下,数据通信量大大减少。经过仿真分析表明,该方法与现有经典数据收集方法相比,实现了节能,延长了网络的生命期。

针对环境温湿度检测的需求,设计了一种点对多点的星型无线温湿度监控网络。以无线通信模块nRF401为基础,配合AT89C2051和数字温湿度传感器SHT11构建了从机,以P89C51RD2BN单片机和USB接口芯片PDIUSBD12构建了主机。对系统的硬件原理及温湿度采集方法进行了介绍,对无线通信协议及USB固件设计方法进行了较详细分析。经上位机软件测试,系统运行稳定,具有较好实用性,可应用于多种场合的无线温湿度监测。

Internet网络的时变时延及网络数据丢包严重影响了遥操作机器人系统的操作性能,甚至造成系统不稳定。为了解决这一问题,提出一种新的基于Internet的遥操作机器人系统控制结构。通过在主端对给定信息加入时间标签获得过去的系统回路时延,采用多元线性回归算法,预测下一时刻系统回路时延,然后在从端设计一个广义预测控制器控制远端机器人,从而改善时变时延对系统性能的影响。应用广义预测控制器产生的冗余控制信息,降低了网络数据丢包对系统的影响。最后根据预测控制稳定性定理,推导出系统的稳定性条件。仿真试验结果表明,该方法能有效解决时变时延以及网络数据丢包引起的性能下降问题。

提出了一种基于视觉的机器人轨迹精度测量系统,该系统以计算机视觉为基础,结合激光测量等技术,可实时测量机器人的运动轨迹误差.完成了高精度图像快速采集与处理、系统标定、三维计算及计算结果可视化等关键技术研究及系统研制工作,并在机器人上进行了实验,大量的实验表明,该系统的测量精度和速度均可满足机器人的轨迹测量的需要.
