Assembly of the transition metal substituted polyoxometalates ZnW11M(H2O)O-39(n-) (M = Mn, Cu, Fe, Co, Cr, Ni, Zn) on 4-aminobenzoic acid modified glassy carbon electrode and their electrochemical study

Through layer-by-layer assembly, a series of undecatungstozincates monosubstituted by first-row transition metals, ZnW11M(H2O)O-39(n-) (M=Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu. or Zn) were first successfully immobilized on a 4-aminobenzoic acid modified glassy carbon electrode surface. The electrochemical behaviors of these polyoxometalates were investigated. They exhibit some special properties in the films different from those in homogeneous aqueous solution. The Cu-centered reaction mechanism in the ZnW11Cu multilayer film was described. The electrocatalytic behaviors of these multilayer film electrodes to the reduction of H2O2 and BrO3- were comparatively studied.

Hydrothermal synthesis and crystal structure of an unusual compound: [Cu(en)(2)](4)[(SiMo8V4O40)-O-V((VO)-O-IV)(2)][MoO4](2)center dot 5H(2)O

A novel compound [Cu(en)(2)](4)[(SiMo8V4O40)-O-v(V-IV O)(2)] [MoO4](2) . 5H(2)O has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Black crystals crystallize in the tetragonal. system, space group 14/m, a = b = 14.019(2) Angstrom, c = 20.341(4) Angstrom, V = 3997.9(11) Angstrom(3), Z = 2, lambda(MoKalpha) = 0.71073 Angstrom (R(F) = 0.0443 for 1819 reflections). Data were collected on a Siemens P4 four-circle diffractometer at 293 K in the range of 1.76 < theta < 24.98degrees using the omega-scan technique. The structure was solved by the direct method and refined by the full-matrix least squares on F-2 method using the SHELXL-97 software. X-ray crystallographic study showed that the title compound contained a bicapped alpha-Keggin fragment [SiMo8 (V4O40)-O-v((VO)-O-IV)(2)](4-) polyoxoanion.

Hydrothermal synthesis and structural characterization of a novel organic-inorganic hybrid compound {[Cu(2, 2 '-bpy)(2)](2)-Mo8O26}

A novel organic-inorganic hybrid compound {[Cu (2, 2'-bpy)(2)](2)Mo8O26} has been hydrothermally Synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group, Pna2(1), with a=2.4164 (5), b=1.8281 (4), c=1.1877 (2) nm, V=5.247(2) nm(3), Z=4, and final R-1=0.0331, wR(2)=0.0727. The structure consists of discrete {[Cu(2,2'-bpy)(2)](2)Mo8O26} clusters, constructed from a beta -octamolybdate subunit[Mo8O26](4-) covalently bonded to two [Cu(2,2'-bpy)(2)](2+) coordination complex cations via bridging oxo groups. In addition, the spectroscopic properties and thermal behavior of this compound have been investigated by spectroscopic techniques (UV-vis, IR, Raman and EPR spectra) and TG analysis.

仲辛基苯氧乙酸萃取Cu(Ⅱ)的性能研究

Toughening PA1010 with a functionalized saturated polyolefin elastomer

Polyamide (PA)1010 is blended with a saturated polyolefin elastomer, ethylene-cu-olefin copolymer (EOCP). To improve the compatibility of PA1010 with EOCP, different grafting rates of EOCP with maleic anhydride (MA) are used. The reaction between PA1010 and EOCP-g-MA during extrusion is verified through an extraction test. Mechanical properties, such as notched Izod impact strength, elongation at break, etc., are examined as a function of grafting rate and weight fraction of elastomer. It was found that in the scale of grafting rate (0.13-0.92 wt %), 0.51 wt % is an extreme point for several mechanical properties. Elastomer domains of PA1010/ EOCP-g-MA blends show a finer and more uniform dispersion in the matrix than that of PA1010/EOCP blends. For the same grafting rate, the average sizes of elastomer particles are almost independent on the contents of elastomer, but for different grafting rates, the particle sizes are decreased with increasing grafting rate. The copolymer formed during extrusion strengthens the interfacial adhesion and acts as an emulsifier to prevent the aggregation of elastomer in the process of blending. Vibronic transitions and site substitution of Eu2+ and codoped ions in KMgF3 : Eu-X (X=Ce, Cr, Gd, Cu) system

The high-resolution emission spectra of KMgF3 : Eu and KMgF3 : Eu-X(X = Ce, Cr, Gd, Cu) single crystals were measured at 300 and 77 K. The vibronic side bands of Eu2+ were characterized and an assignment of the normal mode frequencies to particular vibrations has been made. The correlation between the vibronic frequencies of Eu2+ and the site substitution of other co-dopcd ions was first found. The relationship between vibronic intensity of Eu2+ and other doped ions concentration showed that Cr3+, Gd3+ ions competed K+ sites with Eu2+ ions. Ce3+ and Eu3+ occurred the electron transference. The introduction of Cu+ made for Eu2+ substuting for K+ sites.

An organic-inorganic hybrid solid, (Cu(2,2'-bpy)(2))(2)Mo8O26, has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Dark green crystals crystallize in the orthorhombic system, space group Pna21, a = 24.164(5), b = 18.281(4), c = 11.877(2) Angstrom, alpha = 90 degrees, beta = 90 degrees, gamma = 90 degrees, V= 5247(2) Angstrom (3), Z = 4, lambda (MoK alpha) = 0.71073 Angstrom (R(F) = 0.0331 for 5353 reflections). Data were collected on a Siemens P4 four-circle diffractometer at 293 K in the range 1.69 degrees < theta < 25.04 degrees using the omega -scan technique. The structure was solved by the direct method and refined by full-matrix least squares on F-2 using SHELXL-93. The structure of this compound consists of discrete (Cu(2,2'-bpy)(2))(2)Mo8O26 clusters, constructed from beta -octamolybdate subunits ((Mo8O26)(4-)) covalently bonded to two (Cu(2,2'-bpy)(2))(2+) coordination complexes via bridging oxo groups that connect two adjacent molybdenum sites. Synthesis and crystal structure of a novel amino-acid-containing polyoxometalate: K-6[Cu (Ala)(2) (H2O)(2)](2)[ CU4 (H2O)(2) (AsW9O34)(2)] center dot 16H(2)O

The novel amino-acid-containing polyoxometalate Ka(6) [Cu(Ala)(2) (H2O)(2)](2) [Cu-4 (H2O)(2) . (AsW9O34)(2)] . 16H(2)O was synthesized from the reaction of K-10[Cu-4(H2O)(2)(AsW9O34)(2)] . 20H(2)O with beta -alanine, Its structure has been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in the triclinic space group P (1) over bar, with a=1. 196 3(2) nm, b=1. 536 5(3) nm, c=1. 591 4(3) nm, alpha =93. 97(3)degrees, beta= 110. 88(3)degrees, gamma =101. 07(3)degrees, V=2. 651 8(9) nm(3) and Z=1. Least-squares refinement of the structure leads to R and R-w factors of 0. 067 3 and 0. 162 8, respectively. An unusual structural feature of the compound is that the polyanion [Cu-4(H2O)(2) (AsW9O34)](10-) is linked with the amino-acid complex of Cu2+ by a mu -oxygen atom.
