A specific blood coagulation factor X activator was purified from the venom of Ophiophagus hannah by gel filtration and two steps of FPLC Mono-Q column ion-exchange chromatography. It showed a single protein band both in sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) and alkaline polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The mol. wt was estimated to be 62,000 in non-reducing conditions and 64,500 in reducing conditions by SDS-PAGE. The isoelectric point was found to be pH 5.6. The enzyme had weak amidolytic activities toward CBS 65-25, but it showed no activities on S-2266, S-2302, thrombin substrate S-2238, plasmin substrate S-2251 or factor Xa substrate S-2222. It had no arginine esterase activity toward substrate benzoylarginine ethylester (BAEE). The enzyme activated factor X in vitro and the effect was absolutely Ca2+ dependent, with a Hill coefficient of 6.83. It could not activate prothrombin nor had any effect on fibrinogen and thus appeared to act specifically on factor X. The procoagulant activity of the enzyme was almost completely inhibited by serine protease inhibitors like PMSF, TPCK and soybean trypsin inhibitor; partially inhibited by L-cysteine. Metal chelator EDTA did not inhibit its procoagulant activity. These results suggest that the factor X activator from O. hannah venom is a serine protease.

The question of how amphibians can protect themselves from reactive oxygen species when exposed to the sun in an oxygen-rich atmosphere is important and interesting, not only from an evolutionary viewpoint, but also as a primer for researchers interested in mammalian skin biology, in which such peptide systems for antioxidant defense are not well studied. The identification of an antioxidant peptide named antioxidin-RL from frog (Odorrana livida) skin in this report supports the idea that a peptide antioxidant system may be a widespread antioxidant strategy among amphibian skins. Its ability to eliminate most of the 2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) radical tested within 2 s, which is much faster than the commercial antioxidant factor butylated hydroxytoluene, suggests that it has a potentially large impact on redox homeostasis in amphibian skins. Cys10 is proven to be responsible for its rapid radical scavenging function and tyrosines take part in the binding of antioxidin-RL to radicals according to our nuclear magnetic resonance assay. Lancifodilactone F (1), possessing an unprecedented rearranged pentanortriterpenoid backbone derived from cycloartane, was isolated from the leaves and stems of Schisandra lancifolia (Rehd. et Wils) A. C. Smith. Its structure was established by comprehensive NMR and MS spectroscopic analysis, coupled with single-crystal X-ray experiment. Compound 1 exerted minimal cytotoxicity against C8166 cells (CC50 > 200 mu g/mL) and showed anti-HIV activity with EC50 = 20.69 +/- 3.31 mu g/mL and a selectivity index > 6.62.

根据1988年11月至1993年12月间野外收集的材料和馆藏的标本,本文初步记述厂抚仙湖中侧纹云南鳅和褚氏云南鳅的物种分化在其形态特征、生活空间、食性、年龄和生长、繁殖等5方面的具体表达。研究结果表明,两种云南鳅在形态上的分化主要表现在体长/体高、头长/眼径、尾柄长/尾柄高、口位、须的长度、背鳍分枝鳍条数目等性状上。侧纹云南鳅主要生活于出、入湖的溪流及河口附近,以钩虾和摇蚊幼虫为主食,生长速度较快,绝对繁殖力较高。褚氏云南鳅主要生活于湖泊沿岸浅水区的水草丛中及其附近,以浮游动物为主食,生长速度较慢,绝对繁殖力较低。两种云南鳅具有卵子直径较小、相对繁殖力较高、种群中雌性明显多于雄性等共同特点。这些特点使种群能获得较高的繁殖潜力,与其在湖泊生态系统中面临较大的环境压力有关。

细胞膜流动性通常是指膜脂质的流动性。神经细胞膜功能的正常进行要求膜脂质保持适宜的流动状 态。膜流动性改变将导致膜电位、离子通透性、跨膜物质运输、信号转导等一系列改变。老年动物及阿尔茨海 默氏病(AD) 患者脑神经细胞膜流动性显著降低, 主要与自由基增多引起的脂质过氧化反应、神经细胞钙平衡 失调有关, 此外, 还与其脑内神经元上的受体密度、β- 淀粉样蛋白沉积有关。促智药(吡咯烷酮类、人参皂 甙、银杏叶提取物EGb761) 能明显增强老年动物及AD 患者脑神经细胞膜的流动性。

In this work, a novel light source of strained InGaAsP/InGaAsP MQW EAM monolithically integrated with DFB laser is fabricated by ultra-low-pressure (22 x 10(2) Pa) selective area growth ( SAG) MOCVD technique. Superior device performances have been obtained, sue h as low threshold current of 19 mA, output light power of about 7 mW, and over 16 dB extinction ratio at 5 V applied voltage when coupled into a single mode fiber. Over 10 GHz 3 dB bandwidth in EAM part is developed with a driving voltage of 3 V. After the chip is packaged into a 7-pin butterfly compact module, 10-Gb/s NRZ transmission experiments are successfully performed in standard fiber. A clearly-open eye diagram is achieved in the module output with over 8.3 dB dynamic extinction ratio. Power penalty less than 1.5 dB has been obtained after transmission through 53.3 km of standard fiber, which demonstrates that high-speed, low chirp EAM/DFB integrated light source can be obtained by ultra-low-pressure (22 x 102 Pa) SAG method.

Based on the band anticrossing model, the effects of the strain-compensated layer and the strain-mediated layer on the band structure, gain and differential gain of GaInNAs/GaAs quantum well lasers have been investigated. The results show that the GaNAs barrier has a disadvantage in increasing the density of states in the conduction band. Meanwhile, the multilayer quantum wells need higher transparency carrier density than the GaInNAs/GaAs single quantum well with the same wavelength. However, they help to suppress the degradation of the differential gain. The calculation also shows that from the viewpoint of band structure, the strain-compensated structure and the strain-mediated structure have similar features.

High-density InAs nanowires embedded in an In0.52Al0.48As matrix are fabricated in situ by molecular beam epitaxy on (100) InP. The average cross section of the nanowires is 4.5 x 10 nm(2). The linear density is as high as 70 wires/mu m. The spatial alignment of the multilayer arrays exhibit strong anticorrelation in the growth direction. Large polarization anisotropic effect is observed in polarized photoluminescence measurements. (C) 1999 American Institute of Physics. [S0003-6951(99)04134-0].

Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is often used for finding optimal solution, but it easily entraps into the local extremum in later evolution period. Based on improved chaos searching strategy, an enhanced particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed in this study. When particles get into the local extremum, they are activated by chaos search strategy, where the chaos search area is controlled in the neighborhood of current optimal solution by reducing search area of variables. The new algorithm not only gets rid of the local extremum effectively but also enhances the precision of convergence significantly. Experiment results show that the proposed algorithm is better than standard PSO algorithm in both precision and stability.

该文对4轮MISTY和3轮双重MISTY两种结构进行了优化。在保持其安全性不变的情况下,把4轮MISTY结构中第1轮的伪随机置换,用一个XOR-泛置换代替,第2,第3轮采用相同的伪随机置换,3轮结构中第1轮的伪随机置换用XOR-泛置换代替,其它轮相同。伪随机置换的数量分别由原来的4个变为2个,3个变为1个,从而缩短了运行时间,节省了密钥量,大大降低了结构的实现成本。

提出了网构软件环境下一种基于非确定性推理的构件服务质量动态评估方法,该方法基于贝叶斯网络,其主要特点在于考虑了用户对构件的QoS需求,可以预测在用户多种QoS需求下采用分级策略的构件服务能力,支持评估模型的动态更新,提高了评估结果的准确性,在自主开发的服务协同总线(Once-SCB)平台上进行了应用与验证,结果表明,该评估模型准确、有效,可以在用户多种QoS需求下为其选择最为合适的构件。
