The hierarchial structure and mathematical property of the simplified Navier-Stokesequations (SNSE) are studied for viscous flow over a sphere and a jet of compressible flu-id. All kinds of the hierarchial SNSE can be divided into three types according to theirmathematical property and also into five groups according to their physical content. Amultilayers structure model for viscous shear flow with a main stream direction is pre-sented. For the example of viscous incompressible flow over a flat plate there existthree layers for both the separated flow and the attached flow; the character of thetransition from the three layers of attached flow to those of separated flow is elucidated.A concept of transition layer being situated between the viscous layer and inviscidlayer is introduced. The transition layer features the interaction between viscous flow andinviscid flow. The inner-outer-layers-matched SNSE proposed by the present author inthe past is developed into the layers matched (LsM)-SNSE.

针对激光相变强化搭接带存在的回火软化等问题,对激光强化的球墨铸铁材料QT700-2搭接区的显微硬度、表面粗糙度、物相变化等进行了测试,并分析了强化机理。结果表明:选用合理的搭接率等工艺参数,球墨铸铁激光搭接强化后的硬度可达到50HRC以上,调节搭接宽度可以避免搭接区的回火软化问题。多道搭接强化后表层的马氏体组织呈区域性交错分布,材料表面形成非均匀、多尺度强化结构,强化后的表面具有良好的耐磨性和耐疲劳性。通过上述结果,对材料激光搭接强化的工艺参数进行了合理的优化。

本文发展了非线性边界条件相变传热过程的轴对称双倒易边界元方法,数值模拟了金属熔滴在快速冷却条件下的快速凝固过程。分别研究了在微重力落管和落塔中及喷射成形过程中金属熔滴的快速凝固过程,得到了过冷度,再辉时间,温度变化及相变界面随时间的变化等数值结果。

A new structure of solution elements and conservation elements based on rectangular mesh was pro- posed and an improved space-time conservation element and solution element (CE/SE) scheme with sec- ond-order accuracy was constructed. Furthermore, the application of improved CE/SE scheme was extended to detonation simulation. Three models were used for chemical reaction in gaseous detonation. And a two-fluid model was used for two-phase (gas–droplet) detonation. Shock reflections were simu- lated by the improved CE/SE scheme and the numerical results were compared with those obtained by other different numerical schemes. Gaseous and gas–droplet planar detonations were simulated and the numerical results were carefully compared with the experimental data and theoretical results based on C–J theory. Mach reflection of a cellular detonation was also simulated, and the numerical cellular pat- terns were compared with experimental ones. Comparisons show that the improved CE/SE scheme is clear in physical concept, easy to be implemented and high accurate for above-mentioned problems.

Near-degenerative near-collinear phase-match geometry for broadband optical parametric chirped-pulse amplification (OPCPA) at approximate to 780 nm is calculated in comparison with nondegenerate noncollinear phase-match geometry. In an experiment on LBO-I near-degenerate near-collinear OPCPA, high gain with broad gain bandwidth (approximate to 71 nm, FWHM) at approximate to 780 nm is achieved by using an approximate to 390-nm pumping pulse. The stretched broadband chirped signal pulse near 780 nm is amplified to approximate to 412 mu J with a pumping energy of approximate to 15 mJ, and the total gain is > 3.7 X 10(6), which agrees well with the calculation. For a broadband (covering approximate to 100 nm) chirped signal pulse, the theoretical gain bandwidth has been attained experimentally for the first time. A constrained high-order statistical algorithm is proposed to blindly deconvolute the measured spectral data and estimate the response function of the instruments simultaneously. In this algorithm, no prior-knowledge is necessary except a proper length of the unit-impulse response. This length can be easily set to be the width of the narrowest spectral line by observing the measured data. The feasibility of this method has been demonstrated experimentally by the measured Raman and absorption spectral data.

本文报导了采用半导体激光器泵浦的高效连续可调谐Yb:LYSO激光器的输出特性。LYSO晶体同时具有LSO晶体良好的激光性能和YSO晶体易于生长且成本低廉的优点,实验中我们采用5at%掺杂的Yb:LYSO晶体进行研究,获得了最大输出功率2.84W、输出波长1085nm、光-光转换效率54.5%的高效输出。并且得到了1030-1111nm,一共81nm的波长调谐范围,这是目前我们所知道的从Yb:LYSO激光器获得的最宽的调谐输出。

研究了国产Yb:YAG陶瓷的激光输出特性。激光器采用激光二极管(LD)纵向同轴抽运Yb:YAG陶瓷样品,样品的掺杂原子数分数为1%,一端面镀940 nm和1030 nm双增透膜,另一端面镀1030 nm增透膜,激光器在1031 nm处获得了近红外激光输出。实验中分别测试了Yb:YAG陶瓷在不同输出透射率(T=4%,8%,10%)条件下的激光输出特性。整个实验过程中,激光器维持基横模运转。当输出透射率为10%,吸收的抽运功率为9 W时,激光器获得最大的激光输出功率为1.63 W,相应的斜率效率为23.2%。

The gain properties of near-collinear degenerated phase-matched optical parametric amplification (OPA) using PPKTP crystal are investigated theoretically. The results indicate that the type-0 phase matching of PPKTP has larger accepted angle and better gain spectrum by tuning crystal temperature or rotating crystal angle.

The propagation of an arbitrary polarized few-cycle ultrashort laser pulse in a degenerate three-level medium is investigated by using an iterative predictor-corrector finite-difference time-domain method. It is found that the polarization evolution of the ultrashort laser pulse is dependent not only on the initial atomic coherence of the medium but also on the polarization condition of the incident laser pulse. When the initial effective area is equal to 2 pi, complete linear-to-circular and circular-to-linear polarization conversion of few-cycle ultrashort laser pulses can be achieved due to the quantum interference effects between the two different transition paths.

In this paper, we propose a novel three-dimensional imaging method by which the object is captured by a coded cameras array (CCA) and computationally reconstructed as a series of longitudinal layered surface images of the object. The distribution of cameras in array, named code pattern, is crucial for reconstructed images fidelity when the correlation decoding is used. We use DIRECT global optimization algorithm to design the code patterns that possess proper imaging property. We have conducted primary experiments to verify and test the performance of the proposed method with a simple discontinuous object and a small-scale CCA including nine cameras. After certain procedures such as capturing, photograph integrating, computational reconstructing and filtering, etc., we obtain reconstructed longitudinal layered surface images of the object with higher signal-to-noise ratio. The results of experiments show that the proposed method is feasible. It is a promising method to be used in fields such as remote sensing, machine vision, etc. (c) 2006 Elsevier GmbH. The optical loss coefficient at 1053-nm wavelength, influenced by Fe ions in N31-type Nd-doped phosphate laser glass, was determined precisely and analyzed in detail. It is found that the optical loss coefficient per unit of Fe concentration (cm^(-1)/ppmw) increases with Fe concentration in the range of 0---300 ppmw, but it approaches a constant as the Fe concentration is larger than 300 ppmw. Such a concentration effect is due to a shift in the redox equilibrium between Fe3+ and Fe2+ ions in the glass. The effect of oxygen pressure, temperature, and variable valence states of other metal ions in glass samples on the optical loss is also discussed.
