perimentally at evaluated pressures and under normal- and micro-gravity conditions utilizing the 3.5 s drop tower of the National Microgravity Laboratory of China. The results showed that under micro-gravity conditions the natural convection is minimized and the flames become more planar and symmetric compared to normal gravity. In both normal- and micro-gravity experiments and for a given strain rate and fuel concentration, the flame luminosity was found to enhance as the pressure increases. On the other hand, at a given pressure, the flame luminosity was determined to weaken as the strain rate decreases. At a given strain rate, the fuel concentration at extinction was found to vary non-monotonically with pressure, namely it first increases and subsequently decreases with pressure. The limit fuel concentration peaks around 3 and 4 atm under normal- and micro-gravity, respectively. The extinction limits measured at micro-gravity were in good agreement with predictions obtained through detailed numerical simulations but they are notably lower compared to the data obtained under normal gravity. The simulations confirmed the non-monotonic variation of flammability limits with pressure, in agreement with previous studies. Sensitivity analysis showed that for pressures between one and 5 atm, the near-limit flame response is dominated by the competition between the main branching, H + O2 ? OH + O, and the pressure sensitive termination, H+O2+M? HO2 + M, reaction. However, for pressures greater than 5 atm it was determined that the HO2 kinetics result in further chain branching in a way that is analogous to the third explosion limit of H2/O2 mixtures. 2010 The Combustion Institute. 木质纤维素原料种类多、分布广、数量巨大,通过燃料乙醇生产技术、厌氧沼气发酵技术将其转化成乙醇、沼气等二次能源,一定程度上可以缓解化石能源的不断消耗所带来的能源危机,也解决了农林废弃物引起的环境污染问题。其中以木质纤维素原料生产燃料乙醇,还可以避免以淀粉类和糖类原料生产燃料乙醇时带来的“与人争粮”等一系列问题。因此具有重要的经济效益、环境效益和社会效益。 然而,木质纤维素原料结构致密,木质素包裹在纤维素、半纤维素外围,导致其很难被降解利用,必须进行适当的预处理,去除木质素,打破原有的致密结构,利于原料的后续利用。因此,预处理成为木质纤维素原料能源化利用的关键。而目前预处理环节的费用过于昂贵,于是寻找一种高效、低成本的预处理方法是当今研究的热点。 本论文采用组合白腐真菌对木质纤维素原料进行生物预处理研究,与其他物理化学法相比,该法有着专一性较强、反应温和、不造成环境污染、成本低等优势。白腐真菌主要通过分泌木质素降解酶对木质素进行降解,从而破坏原料的致密结构,提高后续利用效率。所以木质素降解酶酶活的高低是影响原料预处理效果的一个关键因素。于是本论文首先通过将白腐真菌进行组合的方式提高木质素降解酶(漆酶,Lac)酶活;接着对组合菌的菌株相互作用机理进行研究,阐明组合菌Lac 酶活提高的原因,为菌株组合提高Lac 酶活这种方法的应用提供理论依据,同时也为后续组合白腐真菌预处理木质纤维素原料提供指导;进一步采用固态发酵和木质素降解酶两种方式对木质纤维素原料进行预处理研究,最大化去除木质素成分,破坏原料的致密结构;最终对预处理后原料的酶解糖化进行初步研究,为原料后续的能源化应用奠定基础。具体研究结果如下: (1) 以实验室保存的三株主要分泌Lac 的白腐真菌为出发菌株,筛选得到一组Lac 酶活明显提高的组合菌55+m-6,其中菌株55 为Trametes trogii sp.,m-6 为Trametes versicolor sp.,组合后Lac 酶活较单菌株分别提高24.13倍和4.07 倍。组合菌的最适产酶条件为pH 6.5、C/N 16:1、Tween 80 添加量为0.01%,在该条件下组合菌的Lac 酶活峰值比未优化时提高4.11倍。 (2) 对组合菌55+m-6 菌株间相互作用机理进行研究,发现菌株之间不存在抑制作用;平板培养时,菌丝交界处Lac 酶活最高并分泌棕色色素;液体培养时,菌株m-6 对组合后Lac 酶活的提高起着更为重要的作用:菌株m-6的菌块、过滤灭菌胞外物以及高温灭菌胞外物均能明显刺激菌株55 的Lac产生;菌株55、m-6 进行组合后,同工酶种类未发生增减,但有三种Lac同工酶浓度有所提高;对菌株胞外物进行薄层层析和质谱分析,结果表明组合前后菌株胞外物中各物质在浓度上存在较大的变化。推测组合菌Lac酶活的明显提高,主要是由于菌株m-6 胞外物中的一些物质能刺激菌株55 分泌大量Lac 进行代谢,且这些刺激物质并非菌株m-6 特有,菌株55自身也可以代谢生成,但是适当的浓度才能刺激Lac 的大量分泌。 (3) 将组合菌55+m-6 用于固态发酵预处理木质纤维素原料,发现其对玉米秆的降解程度最大,在粉碎度40 目、含水率65%的最优处理条件下,处理至第15d,秸秆失重率为41.24%,其中木质素、纤维素、半纤维素均有降解,且Lac 和纤维素酶(CMC)酶活以及还原糖量均达到峰值。 (4) 对玉米秆进行木质素降解酶预处理,发现Lac/1-羟基苯并三唑(HBT)系统对玉米秆木质素的降解效果最好,在最优处理条件时,即HBT 用量0.2%、处理时间1d、Lac 用量50U/g,木质素降解率可达12.60%。预处理后玉米秆的致密结构被破坏,比表面积增大,利于后续酶与纤维素、半纤维素成分的结合。 (5) 对预处理后的玉米秆进行酶解糖化,其中组合菌固态发酵预处理后玉米秆的糖化率比对照高4.33 倍;Lac/HBT 系统预处理后玉米秆的糖化率比对照高2.99%,糖化液中主要含有木糖、葡萄糖两种单糖。 There are many kinds and large quantities of lignocellulosic biomass widely distributed on the earth. They can be converted into secondary energy such as fuel ethanol, biogas, et al., which can relieve the energy crisis caused by consumption of fossil energy resources and solve the problem of environmental pollution caused by agriculture and forestry waste. Meanwhile, the production of fuel ethanol from lignocellulosic biomass can ensure food supply to human kind instead of starch- and sugar-containing raw materials. So the energy conversion of lignocellulosic biomass contributes considerable economic, environment and social benefits. However, lignocellulosic biomass has the compact structure, in which lignin surrounds cellulose and hemicellulose, so it must be pretreated before energy usage and pretreatment is one of the most critical steps in the energy conversion of lignocellulosic biomass. At present, the cost of pretreatment is too expensive, so looking for an efficient and low-cost pre-treatment method is one of recent research hot spots. In this research, combined white rot fungi pretreatment method was used, which had some advantages in low cost, high specificity, mild reacting conditions and friendly environmental effects compared with the other physical and chemical methods. White rot fungi secrete lignin degrading enzymes to degrade the content of lignin and damage the contact structure of lignocellulosic biomass, so the activity of the lignin degrading enzymes is the key factor to the degradation effect of raw materials. Firstly, the combined fungi with high laccase activity were screened; secondly, the interaction mechanism between strains was studied, and the cause of higher laccase activity after strains combination was also preliminary clarified; under the guidance of the mechanism, lignocellulosic biomass was pretreated by the combined fungi; lastly, the enzymatic hydrolysis of pretreated lignocellulosic biomass was also preliminary studied; all of the researches could lay the foundation for the energy application of lignocellulosic biomass. The specific research results were as follows: (1) The combined fungi 55+m-6 with significant higher laccase activity were screened from the three white rot fungi stored in our lab which mainly secreted laccase. Strain 55 and strain m-6 were Trametes trogii sp. and Trametes versicolor sp., respectively. The laccase activity of combined fungi was 24.13 and 4.07-fold than strain 55 and strain m-6, respectively. The optimized condition for laccase production of the combined fungi in liquid medium was pH 6.5, C/N 16:1 and Tween 80 0.01%. In this optimized condition, the laccase activity of combined fungi was 4.11-fold higher comparing with which in non-optimized medium. (2) The interaction mechanism between strain 55 and strain m-6 was further studied, and no inhibition effect was observed. Brown pigment was secreted on the junction of the two strains on the plate, where the highest laccase activity was detected. Strain m-6 was much important to boost laccase activity of combined fungi in liquid medium, and strain 55 was stimulated by fungal plug, filter sterilized extracellular substances and high temperature sterilized extracellular substances of strain m-6 to produce laccase. The types of laccase isozymes did not change after combining strain 55 and strain m-6, but the concentrations of three types increased. Mass Spectrometry and TLC analysis of extracellular substances of each strain showed that concentration of some substances considerably changed after strains were combined. It was supposed that the cause of higher laccase activity of combined fungi was mainly due to some extracellular substances of strain m-6 with the appropriate concentration which stimulated laccase secretion of strain 55 and generated not only by strain m-6 but also by strain 55. (3) Combined fungi 55+m-6 were used to lignocellulosic biomass pretreatment with the type of solid-state fermentation. The highest degree of degradation of corn straw was obtained, including the rate of weight loss was 41.24% and the lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose were degraded partially under the optimized condition of 40 mesh, 65% water content on 15th day. Laccase, CMCase activities and content of reducing sugar reached the maximum value on that day. (4) Lignin degrading enzymes from combined fungi 55+m-6 were used for corn straw pretreatment. The most remarkable degradation of lignin in corn straw with Lac/1-hydroxybenzotriazole (HBT) system was observed, and the 12.60% lignin degradation was obtained under the optimized condition of 0.2% HBT, 50 U/g laccase for 1 d. After pretreated by Lac/HBT, the tight structure of corn straw was demolished and specific surface area increased, which had advantages for accessible of enzyme to cellulose and hemicellulose. (5) The corn straws pretreated by combined fungi 55+m-6 with the type of solid-state fermentation and Lac/HBT were used for enzymatic hydrolysis, and the saccharification rates of each pretreatment type were 4.33 times and 2.99% higher than CK, respectively. The enzymatic hydrolysis liquid of corn straw pretreated by Lac/HBT mainly contained xylose and glucose.

Through a facile solvothermal route using zinc chloride and thiourea as reactants, wurtzite ZnS and its precursor ZnS center dot (en)(0.5) (en = ethylenediamine) with various morphologies and sizes were grown, which were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM and N-2 adsorption and so on. The phase evolution, composition and morphologies of the products are highly dependent on the concentration of en. By keeping the en-water volume ratio at 1/2 to 1, the nanostripes-flower or nanorod-spheric wurtzite ZnS were easily obtained under 120 degrees C for 6-24 h, which possess relatively higher specific surface area and larger total pore volume.

We reported here four structures of lanthanide-amino acid complexes obtained under near physiological pH conditions and their individual formula can be described as [Tb-2(DL-Cys)(4)(H2O)(8)]Cl-2 (1), [Eu-4(mu(3)-OH)(4)(L-Asp)(2)(L-HAsp)(3)(H2O)(7)] Cl center dot 11.5H(2)O (2), [Eu-8-(L-HVal) (16)(H2O)(32)]Cl-24 center dot 12.5H(2)O (3), and [Tb-2(DL-HVal)(4)(H2O)(8)]Cl-6 center dot 2H(2)O (4). These complexes showed diverse structures and have shown potential application in DNA detection. We studied the interactions of the complexes with five single-stranded DNA and found different fluorescence enhancement, binding affinity and binding stoichiometry when the complexes are bound to DNA.

Controlled crystallization of BaF2 under two different kinds of monolayers, octadecylamine [CH3(CH2)(17)NH2] and hexadecanol [CH3(CH2)(14)CH2OH], has been studied by using x-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope. It was found that the monolayer headgroup, the degree of ionization of the headgroup, etc., had a complicated effect on the selectivity of monolayers for crystal and on the morphology and orientation of crystals grown under the compressed monolayers. At pH = 7.0, XRD analysis showed that (100)-oriented BaF2 crystals were formed under the octadecylamine monolayer, while several kinds of crystals were found under the hexadecanol monolayer. In comparison, at pH = 8.5, both (100)-oriented BaF2 and (111)-oriented Ba(NO3)(2) crystals were obtained under the monolayer of octadecylamine. However, crystals formed under hexadecanol monolayer consist of BaF2, Ba(NO3)(2), etc. The detailed mechanism for crystallization was discussed in terms of the specific interaction and lattice matching between the monolayer headgroup and the nucleating species.

Based on the mass balance equations of solute transfer in the radial chromatographic column, the theoretical expression to describe the column efficiency and shape of elution profile is obtained under linear isotherm case. Moreover, the tendency for the variation of column efficiency and symmetry of peak profile is systematically discussed. The results showed that in radial chromatography the relationship between the column efficiency and volumetric flow rate is similar with that relationship in axial chromatography; relatively high column efficiency still can be obtained under high flow rate in radial chromatography. Accompanying the increase of retention factor of solutes and injection time, the column efficiency decreases monotonously. The effect of column diameter and column length on the column efficiency interfere with each other. It is more advantageous to increase the column efficiency by applying columns with larger column diameter and shorter column length. According to the discussion of the effect of diffusion on the column efficiency, radial chromatography is proved to be suitable for the separation of samples with relatively high diffusion coefficient, which predicts its obvious advantage in the preparative separation of samples such as proteins and DNA.

The present paper studies numerical modelling of near-wall two-phase flows induced by a normal shock wave moving at a constant speed, over a micronsized particles bed. In this two-fluid model, the possibility of particle trajectory intersection is considered and a full Lagrangian formulation of the dispersed phase is introduced. The finiteness of the Reynolds and Mach numbers of the flow around a particle as well as the fineness of the particle sizes are taken into account in describing the interactions between the carrier- and dispersed- phases. For the small mass-loading ratio case, the numerical simulation of flow structure of the two phases is implemented and the profiles of the particle number density are obtained under the constant-flux condition on the wall. The effects of the shock Mach number and the particle size and material density on particle entrainment motion are discussed in detail.The obtained results indicate that interphase non-equilibrium in the velocity and temperature is a common feature for this type of flows and a local particle accumulation zone may form near the envelope of the particle trajectory family.

The deposition of CdO center dot nH(2)O On CdTe nanoparticles was studied in an aqueous phase. The CdTe nanocrystals (NCs) were prepared in aqueous solution through the reaction between Cd2+ and NaHTe in the presence of thioglycolic acid as a stabilizer. The molar ratio of the Cd2+ to Te2- in the precursory solution played an important role in the photoluminescence of the ultimate CdTe NCs. The strongest photoluminescence was obtained under 4.0 of [Cd2+]/[Te2-] at pH similar to 8.2. With the optimum dosage of Cd(II) hydrous oxide deposited on the CdTe NCs, the photoluminescence was enhanced greatly. The photoluminescence of these nanocomposites was kept constant in the pH range of 8.0-10.0, but dramatically decreased with an obvious blue-shifted peak while the pH was below 8.0. In addition, the photochemical oxidation of CdTe NCs with cadmium hydrous oxide deposition was markedly inhibited.

Pile-up around indenter is usually observed during instrumented indentation tests on bulk metallic glass. Neglecting the pile-up effect may lead to errors in evaluating hardness, Young's modulus, stress-strain response, etc. Finite element analysis was employed to implement numerical simulation of spherical indentation tests on bulk metallic glass. A new model was proposed to describe the pile-up effect. By using this new model, the contact radius and hardness of Zr41.2Ti13.8Cu12.5Ni10Be22.5 bulk metallic glass were obtained under several different indenter loads with pile-up, and the results agree well with the data generated by numerical simulation.

We investigate the Kerr nonlinearity of a V-type three-level atomic system where the upper two states decay outside to another state and hence spontaneous generated coherence may exist. It is shown that dark state and hence perfect transparency present under certain conditions. Meanwhile, the Kerr nonlinearity can be controlled by manipulation of the decay rates and the splitting of the two excited states. Therefore, enhanced Kerr nonlinearity without absorption can be obtained under proper parameters.

Diode-pumped passively mode-locked laser operation of Yb3+,Na+:CaF2 single crystal has been demonstrated for the first time. By using a SESAM ( semiconductor saturable mirror), simultaneous transform-limited 1-ps passively mode-locked pulses, with the repetition rate of 183MHz, were obtained under the self-Q-switched envelope induced by the laser medium. The average output power of 360mW was attained at 1047nm for 3.34W of absorbed power at 976nm, and the corresponding pulse peak power arrived at 27kW, indicating the promising application of Yb3+,Na+-codoped CaF2 crystals in achieving ultra-short pulses and high pulse peak power. Analytical propagation expressions of ultrashort pulsed Elegant Hermite-Gaussian beams are derived and spatiotemporal properties of the pulses with different transverse modes are studied. Singularity of the complex amplitude envelope solution of the pulses obtained under slowly varying envelope approximation is analyzed in detail. The rigorous analytical solution of the pulse is deduced and no singularity emerges in the solution. The obtained results indicate that the transverse mode affects not only the spatiotemporal properties but also the singularity of the pulses. Time delay of the off-axis maximum intensity is more obvious and the singularity is located nearer to the z-axis for the pulse with higher transverse modes. (C) 2007 Elsevier GmbH. 介绍了一种基于纳米粉末真空烧结技术的新型固体激光材料——Yb:Y2O3多晶陶瓷的制备工艺、物理化学特性、能级结构和光谱特性,并与Yb:YAG单晶进行了对比.采用紧凑型有源镜激光器(CAMIL)的抽运方式,验证了Yb:Y2O3透明陶瓷的激光输出性能.在35W的最大抽运功率下,得到波长1078nm,功率10.5w的连续激光输出,斜率效率达到37.5%.实验中还观察到激光输出波长随抽运功率增加而红移以及随输出耦合镜变化而漂移的现象.Yb:Y2O3多晶陶瓷是一种理想的激光材料,不仅具有与Yb:YAG单晶同样优秀的

利用激光诱导等离子体开关技术,对355 nm脉冲激光自削波进行了实验和理论研究。分别采用5种不同焦距的透镜,集中讨论了透镜焦距及激光器输出单脉冲能量对脉宽压缩的影响,发现采用焦距为200 mm的透镜能够获得最佳的脉冲压缩效果。在聚焦透镜焦距200 mm,单脉冲能量160 mJ时,获得最短脉宽3.47 ns;在激光电离Cu小孔内壁表面及空气击穿共同作用下,获得了脉宽最短达2.11 ns的脉冲激光输出。此外,根据实验结果得到了355 nm激光空气击穿阈值,并与理论估算值进行比较,两者结果较为一致。
