It is known that global climate changed from the early Tertiary “Green House” to the Quaternary “Ice House” of cyclic glacial-interglacial climatic changes. Since the middle Pleistocene, the climate cycles changed from 40 kyr to 100 kyr, and the amplitudes of climatic fluctuations increased significantly. Therefore, it is important to study the climate changes since the middle Pleistocene. The loess-paleosol sequence in China is considered as one of the most continuous continental records of the last 2.58 Ma. Paleoclimatic and environmental changes have been widely extracted through various climatic parameters. However, the history of paleovegetation on the Loess Plateau still remains unclear. Did an extensive broadleaf forest ever exist on the Loess Plateau? Pollen preserved in the loess and paleosol provides a direct record for vegetation and paleoenvironmental change on the Plateau. However, because it is difficult to extract sufficient pollen grains from loess, the pollen record since the middle Pleistocene especially in the central part of the Chinese Loess Plateau has not been well studied. So we preliminarily focus on the palynological records of the loess-paleosol sequence spanning the last 630 kyr at Luochuan and aim to understand the evolution of vegetation and climate change on the Chinese Loess Plateau. The main results and conclusions are as follows: 1. The palynological results show that the grassland has been a dominant vegetation in the Luochuan area since 630 kyr, even during the intervals of relatively warm and wet climatic conditions. 2. The pollen concentration of Luochuan section sharply decreases from the bottom of S1 to downward depth. This decrease can be attributed to depositional environment rather than climate change. In loess, not only oxidation, but also the PH of deposits and bacteria or fungi have been able to degrade sporopollenin. 3. The paleoclimatic condition during S4 stage, characterized with warmer condition during the early stage, was warmer and wetter than that during S5 in Luochuan area. Paleoclimate was warmer and wetter during the early stage of S5 and became colder and drier later. The special pedogenic features of S5-I can be attributed to a prolonged pedogenic duration rather than a warm-wet climate. 4. Evidence from pollen assemblage suggests that the Holocene vegetation has been affected by human impacts, especially after the Yangshao Culture. 5. The present steppe environment on the loess plateau is mainly due to natural conditions. Temperature, seasonal precipitation and soil structure are three important factors which control the vegetation type. 6. The vegetation on the loess plateau is characterized with zonal or azonal distribution. So local conditions should be taken into account when recover natural vegetation. Finally, the restoration and reconstruction of ecosystem on the loess plateau area should be focused on planting grassland rather than forests.

ZnO nanotetrapods with hexagonal crown were synthesized on a silicon wafer by vapor transport process at a low temperature of 630 °C and normal pressure without the presence of catalysts. The results demonstrated that the as-synthesized products with slender legs and regular hexagonal crown are single crystal with wurtzite structure and preferentially grow up along 001 direction. Photoluminescence spectra revealed that the green emission originated from oxygen vacancies overwhelmed that of the near-band-edge ultraviolet peak, which suggests the peculiar-shaped nanotetrapods may have potential applications in multichannel nano-optoelectronic devices.

The problem of an infinite plate with crack of length 2a loaded by the remote tensile stress P and a pair of concentrated forces Q is discussed. The value of the force Q for the initial contact of crack face is investigated and the contact length elevated, while the Q force increases. The problem is solved assuming that the stress intensity factor vanishes at the end point of the contact portion. By the Fredholm integral equation for the multiple cracks, the reduction of stress intensity factor due to Q is found. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.

为了测量双层铬的界面软铬层力学性质,提出了化学腐蚀基体法,通过溶解掉基体制备没有基体支撑的自由铬层,将在横截面内线状显示的界面转化为界面表面(铬层与基体相连接的面),避免了横截面不能显示界面表面的缺点。对界面表面进行纳米压入实验和借助于表征薄膜力学性质的表面压入能量法,测得了描述界面软铬层力学性质的弹性模量和压入弹、塑性功等参数。

在微流控器件内集成具有流动汇聚功能的几何结构以研究液-液系统中液滴的形成.相图显示液滴的大小为流量以及两种液体流量比的函数,它包括两个区域,在一个区域中液滴大小和孔隙宽度接近,而在另一区域液滴大小则取决于"汇聚"后的细流直径,从而能形成远小于孔隙的液滴.单分散和多分散乳状液均可以被生成.

提出球填充数值算法的新分类方法.改进原有的松弛算法,使其能够模拟直径任意分布的球填充问题,采用可变循环周期使不同球数情形下的填充率基本保持不变.算例数据表明,该算法的填充率和配位数均高于原算法.由于采用背景网格搜索和双向链表组数据结构,使得邻接球搜索效率有相当大的提高,算法的时间复杂度为O(N)(N为球数).在一台AMD Athlon 3200+PC上,对于10000个等径球的随机密排列,只需217s,填充率即可达到0.64.

纳米氧化锌(ZnO)是一种直接宽带隙半导体材料,室温下其禁带隙宽为本3.37 eV,激子束缚能为60 meV。纳米ZnO有明显的尺寸效应、表面和界面效应等,物理化学性能优越。在压电材料、铁电材料、平面显示、表面声波、传感器、场发射器件、激光、光催化等方面有着广泛的用途。近年来,对纳米ZnO材料的研究成为国内外的一个热点。 本论文研究了用化学气相沉积(CVD)法制备微/纳米ZnO材料。通过控制实验条件,合成了多种特殊结构和形貌的微/纳米ZnO材料,并用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、高分辨率透射电镜(HR-TEM)、X-射线衍射仪(XRD)、Raman光谱和光致发光(PL)等对材料的结构和光学性能进行了表征。采用CVD法,在温度为630 °C,氧气流量为15 sccm,氩气流量为300 sccm的条件下,制备了一种纳米带冠四足状ZnO(T-ZnO)。此结构ZnO材料的每根足顶端均有一规则的六方帽形结构,具有很大的比表面积。实验结果表明:合成的ZnO材料为纤维锌矿结构单晶,并且沿着(0001)方向生长;室温下的PL谱有两个激发峰,一个是在393 nm处相对较弱的近带紫外峰,另一个是在511 nm处强峰。而材料在600 °C下氧气中退火30 min后,511 nm附近的绿光激发辐射峰则基本消失了,这说明在511 nm处的绿光激发辐射峰可能是由于氧空位引起的。此外,通过改变实验条件,还得到了其他多种结构的微/纳米ZnO材料。 通过大量实验,找到了一种在低温下合成微/纳米ZnO材料的新方法,即水蒸气氧化法。用ZnI2作为锌源,水蒸气作为氧化剂,实验温度在300~500 °C范围内,大大低于通常CVD法的500~1500 °C。采用此法,用硅做基底,得到了一系列有趣的实验结果,大多数情况下ZnO纳米晶自组装成很规则的圆。而在瓷舟中收集到的纳米ZnO跟普通CVD法结果相似,可以得到锥状、棒状等结构的纳米晶,但其生长方式与硅基底上的有很大差别。此外,用水蒸气氧化法,还实现了ZnO纳米晶在碳纳米管(CNTs)上的直接生长,而且其PL性能增强,这可能是纳米ZnO和CNTs相互耦合的结果。在700 °C温度下,以锌粉和ZnI2作为锌源,用水蒸气作为氧化剂,在硅基底的正反面分别得到了纳米棒和纳米推子阵列。此外,还对水蒸气氧化法的化学反应机理进行了分析,实验结果证明:固态ZnI2在受热和一定真空度下先蒸发成ZnI2分子,ZnI2分子遇到水蒸气发生反应生成偶极ZnO分子,这些ZnO偶极分子在硅基底上通过静电力自组装成特殊的几何形状。 此外,还通过分子动力学模拟的方法,对材料的力学性能进行了研究,得到了ZnO的弹性常数和体弹性模量,模拟值跟其他研究人员的实验和模拟结果吻合得很好,并估出算了ZnO晶体的表面能和断裂韧性。 本论文还对制备材料的光催化性能进行了系统的研究,采用CVD法制备ZnO,对铬黑T(EBT)进行光催化降解实验。通过正交实验方法,得到了ZnO催化降解EBT的最佳工艺条件,即催化剂用量为5 g/L,光照强度为120 W,反应温度为20 °C,反应时间为120 min,EBT浓度为10 mg/L,溶液pH值为4。 在最佳实验条件下,20分钟内有95%的EBT被降解完,30分钟内则全部降解。因此,ZnO在EBT的降解中催化效率很高,在废水处理中具有潜在的应用前景。

This paper aims at investigating the size-dependent self-buckling and bending behaviors of nano plates through incorporating surface elasticity into the elasticity with residual stress fields. In the absence of external loading, positive surface tension induces a compressive residual stress field in the bulk of the nano plate and there may be self-equilibrium states corresponding to the plate self-buckling. The self-instability of nano plates is investigated and the critical self-instability size of simply supported rectangular nano plates is determined. In addition, the residual stress field in the bulk of the nano plate is usually neglected in the existing literatures, where the elastic response of the bulk is often described by the classical Hooke’s law. The present paper considered the effect of the residual stress in the bulk induced by surface tension and adopted the elasticity with residual stress fields to study the bending behaviors of nano plates without buckling. The present results show that the surface effects only modify the coefficients in corresponding equations of the classical Kirchhoff plate theory.

We investigate the higher spectral component generations driven by a few-cycle laser pulse in a dense medium when a static electric field is present. Our results show that, when assisted by a static electric field, the dependence of the transmitted laser spectrum on the carrier-envelope phase (CEP) is significantly increased. Continuum and distinct peaks can be achieved by controlling the CEP of the few-cycle ultrashort laser pulse. Such a strong variation is due to the fact that the presence of the static electric field modifies the waveform of the combined electric field, which further affects the spectral distribution of the generated higher spectral components.

The term "polarization-dependent Talbot effect" means that the Talbot self-imaging intensity of a high-density grating is different for TE and TM polarization modes. Numerical simulations with the finite-difference time-domain method show that the polarization dependence of the Talbot images is obvious for gratings with period d between 2 lambda and 3 lambda. Such a polarization-dependent difference for TE and TM polarization of, a high-density grating of 630 lines/mm (corresponding to d/lambda = 2.5) is verified through experiments with the scanning near-field optical microscopy technique, in which a He-Ne laser is used as its polarization is changed from the TE mode to the TM mode. The polarization-dependent Talbot effect should help us to understand more clearly the diffraction behavior of a high-density grating in nano-optics and contribute to wide application of the Talbot effect. 水母雪莲(Saussurea medusa Maxim)为菊科凤毛菊属植物,是名贵中药材。为解决雪莲资源匮乏,我们实验室通过植物组织培养技术,成功的建立起水母雪莲细胞和毛状根体系。通过对它的药理实验及化学成分分析,主要成分为黄酮类物质和紫丁香甙单体。为了进一步提高这些物质在水母雪莲培养物中的含量,本文开展通过添加外源诱导子手段来调控水母雪莲次生代谢合成途径。 利用水杨酸(SA)和酵母提取物(YE)作为外源诱导子,添加到水母雪莲细胞系和毛状根系培养基中,研究诱导子不同添加浓度和不同添加时间对水母莲细胞系和毛状根系的生长及次生物质合成的诱导效应。实验结果发现:对于细胞系来说,SA比YE的诱导效果要好,低浓度SA处理时,不仅能促进细胞的生长,还能提高水母雪莲细胞中黄酮化合物和紫丁香甙的含量。其中,在细胞生长周期的第6天添加终浓度为20 μM的SA,诱导效果表现最佳。在此条件下,细胞内总黄酮产量达到532 mg/l,紫丁香甙为630 mg/l,分别比对照提高了130%,和150%。对于毛状根体系来说,SA和YE生长早期添加会抑制毛状根生长。总体上,YE的诱导效果比SA明显。在第10天添加终浓度为40 μg/ml的YE,总黄酮达到741 mg/l,紫丁香甙达到303 mg/l,分别是对照的2.8和2.5倍。 同时研究了20 μM和100 μM SA诱导下,黄酮合成途径中相关酶的变化。发现,低浓度的SA能在短时间内诱导CHS和CHI表达,24h后PAL酶活性升高到对照的7.5倍,而48 h总黄酮的含量检测到最高值。因此可以初步断定,SA诱导苯基苯丙烷类物质的积累与CHS和CHI表达,PAL酶活性提高有关。 另外,从水母雪莲cDNA中克隆到雪莲黄酮合成途径的第一个关键酶—查耳酮合成酶基因(SmCHS)全长cDNA。此cDNA序列全长为1313bp,其编码的蛋白为389个氨基酸,推测的氨基酸序列与许多物种都高度同源,同源性高达88%。生物信息学分析,SmCHS具有CHS-like保守结构域,其二级结构与苜蓿的CHS十分相似,且苜蓿中的CHS酶活性中心的关键氨基酸位点在SmCHS也一致对应相同,没有突变。因此可以初步推测这个SmCHS应该具有查耳酮合成酶功能。并进一步构建SmCHS植物表达载体,转化拟南芥chs突变体,通过功能互补分析研究此基因的功能。由于时间关系这部分研究尚在进行中。

毛乌素沙地是中国半干旱地区典型沙地,这里的干旱生态系统对全球的水热配合格局的变化具有很灵敏的响应。随着未来全球气候变化,如温度和降水量变化,将给这里的陆地生态系统分布格局和生产力以及水分平衡带来巨大影响。故本文人工控制157. 5mm、315. Omm、472. 5mm和630. Omm4种施水量水平以及25/20℃和28/23℃(白天/晚上)两种温度,来研究与模拟毛乌素沙地优势植物对水分和温度变化的响应。 以沙柳、杨柴和油蒿幼苗为研究对象,人工控制4种降水量水平来探讨它们的水分平衡对全球变化中降水量变化的响应。结果表明,随着施水量的增加,沙地贮水量及其它的变化量、湿度、蒸发量和蒸腾量均逐渐增大。并且157. 5mm和315. Omm施水量的植物沙地出现水分亏缺现象。相同施水量下,沙地蓄水量和湿度均杨柴沙地>沙柳沙地>油蒿沙地,而植物蒸腾量却油蒿>沙柳>杨柴。 以沙柳和油蒿幼苗为研究对象,人工控制4种降水量水平来探讨植物气体交换过程对全球变化中降水量变化的响应。结果表明,施水量的增加显著提高了两种植物的净光合速率、蒸腾速率、气孔导度和光能利用效率,并且显著降低了叶片温度。同时,157. 5mm施水量造成沙柳和油蒿的净光合速率和蒸腾速率具有显著的“午睡”现象,而充足施水却有效的解除或缓解这种“午睡”现象。 以沙柳、杨柴、油蒿和柠条幼苗为研究对象,人工控制4种降水量水平来探讨植物叶绿素荧光对全球变化中降水量变化的响应。结果表明,不同施水量对这4种植物的初始荧光、最大荧光、可变荧光和PSII光化学效率均具有显著影响。157. 5mm施水量的沙柳、杨柴、油蒿和柠条以及630. Omm施水量的柠条出现明显的光抑制现象。 以沙柳、杨柴、油蒿和柠条幼苗为研究对象,人工控制4种降水量水平来探讨植物生长对全球变化中降水量变化的响应。结果表明,施水量的增加对沙柳、油蒿和杨柴枝叶形态和生物量等都具有显著正效应。而157. 5mm和630. Omrn的施水量对柠条生长具有负作用。另外,沙柳、杨柴和油蒿根冠生物量比随着施水量增加均逐渐减小,而不同施水量的油蒿根冠生物量比之间差异不显著。 以柠条、杨柴和油蒿幼苗为研究对象,人工控制两种温度水平来探讨植物形态、生物量和气候交换特征对增温的响应。结果表明,增温显著提高了柠条和杨柴株高、叶数、叶面积、生物量、净光合速率、蒸腾速率和气孔导度,却显著降低了水分利用效率。增温对油蒿叶数、叶大小、叶面积、生物量、蒸腾速率和气孔导度没有显著影响,却显著提高了油蒿的树高和净光合速率。柠条、杨柴和油蒿之间的种间生长和生理特征均有显著差异。
