Lan honek 2007 eta 2013 urteen bitartean autoen prezioak nola aldatzen diren erakusten digu. Horretarako, autoen hainbat ezaugarri hartu dira kontuan, hala nola, modeloa, mota, zilindrada, zilindroen posizioa, potentzia, luzera, zabalera, altuera, kontsumoa, abiadura maximoa, azelerazioa eta maleteroaren kapazitatea. Gaur egungo egoera dela eta, hasiera batean pentsa genezake kotxeen prezioak jaitsi egin direla, baina dituzten aurrerapenak kontuan izanda, logikoena izango zen zenbat eta aldagai garatuagoak izan orduan eta garestiagoak izatea. Beraz, lanaren helburu izango da, emaitza horiek bete diren edo ez frogatzea, eredu ekonometriko bat zehaztuz. Ereduaren estimazioa egiteko erabilitako metodologia Karratu Txikien Arruntak izan dira, baina heterozedastizitatearen arazoa agertu denez, eredu honek ez du bariantza txikiena izango eta beraz estimatzaile berria erabili beharko da, kasu honetan, Karratu Txikienen Zabalduen metodoa erabili da. Urte bakoitzerako egokiagoa den eredua hautatu ondoren eredu orokorra egin dut, horretarako 2007 eta 2013ko datuak begiraturik, bakoitzari dagokion aldagai azaltzaile bat eratu diot, hau da, ezaugarri bakoitza bere urtearekin elkartu dut. Murriztutako eredura heltzerakoan, lortutako emaitzak ikusirik ondorio batera heldu naiz, ondorio hori hasieran planteatutako hipotesiarekin bat datorrela ikusi da, hau da, autoen prezioak proportzionalki jaitsi egin dira, eta ondorioz, autoen ezaugarriak gutxiago baloratzen dira.

The effectiveness of a vaccine is determined not only by the immunogenicity of its components, but especially by how widely it covers the disease-causing strains circulating in a given region. Because vaccine coverage varies over time, this study aimed to detect possible changes that could affect vaccine protection during a specific period in a southern European region. The 4CMenB vaccine is licensed for use in Europe, Canada, and Australia and is mainly directed against Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B. This vaccine contains four main immunogenic components: three recombinant proteins, FHbp, Nhba and NadA, and an outer membrane vesicle [PorA P1.4]. The allelic distribution of FHbp, Nhba, NadA, and PorA antigens in 82 invasive isolates (B and non-B serogroups) isolated from January 2008 to December 2013 were analyzed. 4CMenB was likely protective against 61.8% and 50% of serogroup B and non-B meningococci, respectively, in the entire period, but between 2012 and 2013, the predicted protection fell below 45% (42.1% for serogroup B isolates). The observed decreasing trend in the predicted protection during the 6 years of the study (X-2 for trend = 4.68, p=0.03) coincided with a progressive decrease of several clonal complexes (e. g., cc11, cc32 and cc41/44), which had one or more antigens against which the vaccine would offer protection.

A new supervised burned area mapping software named BAMS (Burned Area Mapping Software) is presented in this paper. The tool was built from standard ArcGIS (TM) libraries. It computes several of the spectral indexes most commonly used in burned area detection and implements a two-phase supervised strategy to map areas burned between two Landsat multitemporal images. The only input required from the user is the visual delimitation of a few burned areas, from which burned perimeters are extracted. After the discrimination of burned patches, the user can visually assess the results, and iteratively select additional sampling burned areas to improve the extent of the burned patches. The final result of the BAMS program is a polygon vector layer containing three categories: (a) burned perimeters, (b) unburned areas, and (c) non-observed areas. The latter refer to clouds or sensor observation errors. Outputs of the BAMS code meet the requirements of file formats and structure of standard validation protocols. This paper presents the tool's structure and technical basis. The program has been tested in six areas located in the United States, for various ecosystems and land covers, and then compared against the National Monitoring Trends in Burn Severity (MTBS) Burned Area Boundaries Dataset.
