Premières observations sur la croissance des moules (Mytilus galloprovincialis Lmk) dans l'étang du Prévost

From 1972, oysters and mussels culture was introduced into a little lagoon of Languedoc, the lake of the Prévost. The principal geographic and hydrologic features of this lake are laid out . Then, the mussels growing (Mytilus galloprovincialis) from June 1973 to April 1974 is described.

La récolte du naissain d'Ostrea edulis en Méditerranée (prospection de 1973 sur les côtes du Golfe du Lion)

In 1973 the" Institut des Peches Maritimes (Centre de Sete) "prospected the Mediterranean coasts to obtain information about the possibilities of collecting flat oyster (Ostrea edulis) spat. Plastic collectors were submerged at 20 stations in the Golfe du Lion. In spite of some lose of equipment, observations have allowed to see that spat densities were excellent (5.5 to 9.4 per dm2 of collector) in most areas.
