Size composition data of bigeye tuna taken from the eastern tropical Pacific Ocean by Japanese Prefectural experimental training vessels from 1958 to 1964 are examined. A gradient of increasing fish size from east to west is noted. Males increase in ratio over females for the entire range of lengths examined, and beyond 170 cm comprise more than 75 per cent of the total. The first semester of the year is important as a bigeye spawning season. A general relationship between sexual maturity and thermal structure of the water is discussed. At the end of their 12th quarter of life bigeye are about 114 cm long, by the 16th quarter, 137 cm and at the end of 20 quarters, about 153 cm. The long-line fishery in the eastern Pacific has had a marked effect on the size composition of the stocks of bigeye, but whether the fishing has driven the stocks below a point which could afford a maximum sustainable yield could not be determined. Observations of Caspian Sea during August - September 1995 are used to develop a three dimensional numerical for calculating temperature and current. This period was chosen because of extensive set of observational data including surface temperature observations. Data from the meteorological buoy network on Caspian Sea are combined with routine observation at first order synoptic station around the lake to obtain hourly values of wind stress and pressure fields. Initial temperature distribution as a function of depth and horizontal coordinates are derived from ship cruises. The model has variable grid resolution and horizontal smoothing which filters out small scale vertical motion. The hydrodynamic model of Caspian Sea has 6 vertical levels and a uniform horizontal grid size of 50 km The model is driven with surface fluxes of heat and momentum derived from observed meteorological. The model was able to reproduce all of the basic feature of the thermal structure in Caspian sea and: larger scale circulation patterns tend to be cyclone, with cyclone circulation with each sub basin. Result has agreement with observations.

Neogobius caspius is a small benthic fish that is native to the Caspian Sea. The importance of this fish is because of it is role as a main food resource of the sturgeon fish. The genetic diversity of N. caspius population in the Caspian Sea was studied using PCR- RFLP technique. A total of 135 samples of N. caspius were collected from coastal line in the north Caspian sea, including specimens from coasts of Anzali , Torkman Port and Chalus. Genomic DNA was extracted by phenol-chloroform method and then was amplified using a pair primer of cytochrom b gene, 2 tRNA gene and the control region sequences by a thermal cycler. D2 (5'-CCGGAGTATGTAGGGCATTCTCAC-3'), CY1 (5'-YYTAACCRRGACYAATGACTTGA-3') 12 restriction enzyme were used to digest the target gene region including: Alul HincII —Tas1 —Rsa1 -MboI -DraI -BSeNI(BSRI) Alw261(BsmAI). Bsul 51 Hin11 Bsh12851- BsuRI(HaeIII) digested PCR products were observed by silver staining method followed by Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE). The results were shown the same pattern among the species. There was no polymorphism and no differentiation in population in the Neogobius caspius fish and all individuals have shown homogenous genotype.
