Étude préliminaire sur l'incorporation de liants dans un aliment composé pour poisson d'élevage en Côte d'Ivoire

Artificial feeding constitutes a very important aspect for intensive fish culture. Then, the physical properties, particularly water stability of feed, wider influence the fish production. By trying to find some answers to these problems, a preliminary study on water stability has been conducted at the LAYO aquaculture research station. This work consisted in incorporating different types of binders available in tropical countries in fish pellets of 3.5 mm and 6.0 mm diameters in order to identify an efficient binder allowing the improvement of the water stability of feed. From this experiment, it comes out that the use of wheat flour (A1) gives excellent quality pellets followed by cassava flour residue (A3). Moreover, this study shows that it exists an influence of the diameter on the crumbling of the pellets.

Variations temporelles de Vibrio cholerae Non 01 et conditions environnementales dans un site aquacole (Lagune Ebrié, Côte d'Ivoire)

The annual cycle of Vibrio cholerae in the environment surrounding the Layo aquaculture facility (Ebrié lagoon) was studied from March 1991 to April 1992. Vibrio cholerae counts were coupled with the determination of physical and chemical characteristics of water and the estimation of biological richness of this environment.

Perspektiven der Deutschen Aquakultur

Unter diesem Titel fand im März vergangenen Jahres in Hamburg eine Tagung der Deutschen Sektion der European Aquaculture Society (EAS) und der European Association of Fish Pathologists (EAFP) statt, zu der über 130 Teilnehmer aus Wissenschaft, Verwaltung, Wirtschaft und Praxis angereist waren.

Ergebnisse der 23. Jahrestagung der Internationalen Ostsee-Fischereikommission (IBSFC) vom 08.-12.09.1997 und Ausblick

Die Tagung fand in Warschau, dem Sitz des Sekretariats der IBSFC, statt. Arbeitsebenen der Tagung sind Plenarsitzungen und Sitzungen der beiden Ständigen Komitees „Regulierungsmaßnahmen“ und „Finanzen“. Die Plenarsitzungen und Sitzungen des Ständigen Komitees für Regulierungsmaßnahmen mit insgesamt 34 Tagungsordnungspunkten waren geprägt von der Analyse der nationalen Fischereien im Basiszeitraum, d.h. von der Ausnutzung der nationalen Quoten für 1996 und z.T. 1997, den Beratungen zum Fischereimanagement für 1998, aber auch vom Vorsorgeansatz im Fischereimanagement und den Auswirkungen der sogenannten Rio-Konferenz (UN-Konferenz über Umwelt und Entwicklung, Rio de Janeiro 1992) für den Ostseeraum.

Ergebnisse weiterer Versuche mit Schersegeln

Als Schersegel werden hydrodynamische Auftriebsvorrichtungen am Kopftau von Schleppnetzen bezeichnet, die in ihrer Wirkungsweise einem Höhenscherbrett entsprechen. Im Gegensatz zu der starren Konstruktion eines Höhenscherbretts aus Holz oder Aluminium bestehen Schersegel jedoch aus flexiblem Material, im allgemeinen beidseitig kunststoffbeschichtetem Gewebe.
