Resumo:
This note presents the results of a current study on the parasitism of the yellowfin Thunnus albacares in the Gulf of Guinea: a list of encountered crustaceans and helminths, remarks concerned with localisations, frequencies and intensities of the infestations is given. A hypothesis on the existence of three ecological stocks corresponding to three great fishing areas of the Gulf is suggested.

In the "Flore Générale de l'Indochine" three species of phanerogams have been described: Halophila ovalis (R. Br.) Hook. f., Diplanthera uninervis (Forsk.) Aschers. and Ruppia rostella Koch in Rchb. In 1954, Dawson added to this list Halophila Beccari Aschers. and Thalassia hemprichii (Ehrenb.) Aschers. Even Mr. Feldmann found in the herbarium of the Oceanographic Institute of Nha-Trang, the Cymodocea rotundata (Ehrenb. & Hernpr.) Asch. & Schweinf., that the authors found in Cua-Be (Nha trang), Qui-Nhon and Da-Nang (Tourane).

In 1926, The Oceanographic Institute published a first list of Indochinese fish, prepared by Mr. P. Charanaud. This first inventory included 275 species. For 6 years, researches conducted by the Oceanographic Institute, both at sea and on major rivers and lakes in the South of Vietnam, have contributed to build a collection of 4,000 individuals at least. Its inventory and the development of a huge documentation allowed the publication of the present note that includes 375 species.
