This is the report from the North Cumbria Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, which was held on the 1st April 1980. The report contains the minutes of previous meetings, draft netting rights on the River Eden, rod an line licence duties, a pipeline project by British Gas Corporation, fisheries byelaw on baiting, and information on a survey of goosanders and mergansers. It also contains the report by the area fisheries officer which looks at river conditions and fishing, general comments on fish stocks at Holmwrangle hatchery, a fish mortality on the River Wiza, salmon spawning and monthly salmon and sea trout catches for the 1979 season. The Fisheries Advisory Committee was part of the Regional Water Authorities, in this case the North West Water Authority. This preceded the Environment Agency which came into existence in 1996.

This is the report from the Regional Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, which was held on the 30th January, 1984. The report contains information on the use of fyke nets and an application to use Rotenone fish Toxicant. Also included is information on Dunsop Trout Farm and the establishment of migratory fish rearing facilities, the decline of salmon and sea trout catches in South Cumbria, and the decline of salmon stocks in the River Eden. The Fisheries Advisory Committee was part of the Regional Water Authorities, in this case the North West Water Authority. This preceded the Environment Agency which came into existence in 1996.

This is the report from the Regional Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, which was held on the 14th September, 1987. The report contains information on Haweswater hatchery, River Eden draft netting, Fishery Byelaws, Haaf Net Limitation Order for the Solway Firth, Sea Fisheries Byelaws, River Caldew Weirs, serious fish mortalities, and the abolition of the coarse fish close season in enclosed waters. The section on River Caldew Weirs looks at the construction of fish passes at three weirs on the River Caldew to let migratory fish species reach the upper parts of the river. The section on serious fish mortalities covers information on the River Weaver, three pools system in Southport, Macclesfield Canal in Congleton, and River Eden, Appleby. The Fisheries Advisory Committee was part of the Regional Water Authorities, in this case the North West Water Authority. This preceded the Environment Agency which came into existence in 1996.
