One of the advantages of social networks is the possibility to socialize and personalize the content created or shared by the users. In mobile social networks, where the devices have limited capabilities in terms of screen size and computing power, Multimedia Recommender Systems help to present the most relevant content to the users, depending on their tastes, relationships and profile. Previous recommender systems are not able to cope with the uncertainty of automated tagging and are knowledge domain dependant. In addition, the instantiation of a recommender in this domain should cope with problems arising from the collaborative filtering inherent nature (cold start, banana problem, large number of users to run, etc.). The solution presented in this paper addresses the abovementioned problems by proposing a hybrid image recommender system, which combines collaborative filtering (social techniques) with content-based techniques, leaving the user the liberty to give these processes a personal weight. It takes into account aesthetics and the formal characteristics of the images to overcome the problems of current techniques, improving the performance of existing systems to create a mobile social networks recommender with a high degree of adaptation to any kind of user.

Social learning processes can be the basis of a method of agricultural innovation that involves expert and empirical knowledge. In this sense, the objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness and sustainability of an innovation process, understood as social learning, in a group of small farmers in the southern highlands of Peru. Innovative proposals and its permanence three years after the process finished were evaluated. It was observed that innovation processes generated are maintained over time; however, new innovations are not subsequently generated. We conclude that adult learning processes and innovation based on social learning are more effective and sustainable; however, the farmers internalization in innovation processes is given longer term.

The increasing ageing population is demanding new care approaches to maintain the quality of life of elderly people. Informal carers are becoming crucial agents in the care and support of elderly people, which can lead to those carers suffering from additional stress due to competing priorities with employment or due to lack of knowledge about elderly people?s care needs. Thus, support and stress relief in carers should be a key issue in the home-care process of these older adults. Considering this context, this work presents the iCarer project aimed at developing a personalized and adaptive platform to offer informal carers support by means of monitoring their activities of daily care and psychological state, as well as providing an orientation to help them improve the care provided. Additionally, iCarer will provide e-Learning services and an informal carers learning network. As a result, carers will be able to expand their knowledge, supported by the experience provided by expert counsellors and fellow carers. Additionally, the coordination between formal and informal carers will be improved, offering the informal carers flexibility to organize and combine their assistance and social activities.

Social capacity building has been considered in the last decades an important element of rural development projects, as it helps organizations and communities to better use their resources, design and manage projects locally and improve their living standards. Social capacity building has been related to the development of certain skills and to the concept of leadership development. Social capacity building and leadership development under a social learning approach have guided a rural development project with an Aymara women organization in Puno, Peru, where around 400 women artisans are trying to develop a business organization to improve their lives and their communities. Qualitative and quantitative methodologies have been applied to assess improvements in capacities and leadership. Results show that the technical aspects are the first to be developed but that group process skills and contextual skills take longer and are crucial to the success of the projects.

This paper explores the potential role of individual trip characteristics and social capital network variables in the choice of transport mode. A sample of around 100 individuals living or working in one suburb of Madrid (i.e. Las Rosas district of Madrid) participated in a smartphone short panel survey, entering travel data for an entire working week. A Mixed Logit model was estimated with this data to analyze shifts to metro as a consequence of the opening of two new stations in the area. Apart from classical explanatory variables, such as travel time and cost, gender, license and car ownership, the model incorporated two “social capital network” variables: participation in voluntary activities and receiving help for various tasks (i.e. child care, housekeeping, etc.). Both variables improved the capacity of the model to explain transport mode shifts. Further, our results confirm that the shift towards metro was higher in the case of people “helped” and lower for those participating in some voluntary activities.

En la primera parte de este trabajo se define la gobernanza como un concepto político que responde adecuadamente a las necesidades sociales de la naturaleza humana. En consecuencia, la adecuada conceptualización de este término puede servir para resolver los problemas sociales y también para orientar hacia el éxito los esfuerzos de la cooperación al desarrollo. Este concepto político resulta particularmente apropiado para la situación actual de la sociedad peruana, donde la existencia de conflictos sociales manifiesta la necesidad de una planificación liderada desde el ámbito público que enfrente la diversidad cultural y social que caracteriza a esta sociedad. Después de un análisis de las políticas de la cooperación internacional en Perú y de las últimas intervenciones para el desarrollo de la gobernanza, es posible concluir que en el país no existe una política para la cooperación internacional; que no hay un enfoque territorial en las intervenciones y que la práctica planificadora no considera una unión entre conocimiento y acción, limitándose a un enfoque tradicional de la planificación en la cooperación para el desarrollo. Esta investigación aporta un modelo para orientar las intervenciones de la cooperación internacional para el desarrollo de la gobernanza que se caracteriza por un liderazgo del ámbito público, una innovación en la gestión de dicho ámbito y un modelo de planificación mixto, una unión del modelo de Análisis de Políticas y el modelo de Aprendizaje Social. Por último, el modelo propuesto puede tener una amplia aplicación en los programas de desarrollo en Perú. On the first part of this research I found that governance is a political concept which responds adequately to social needs of human being. Thus, an adequate conceptualization of governance could help to solve social problems and lead efforts of Development Cooperation to success. This political concept is particularly appropriate to current Peruvian society where exist social conflicts which show a clear necessity of planning which should be leaded by the public sector. This is necessary to face cultural and social diversity which characterize this society. After an analysis of the International Cooperation management in Peru and a review of the last projects for developing governance, I found there is not a Politic for International Cooperation; projects does not have a territorial focusing; and planning does not characterize as union between knowledge and action. In this sense, there is a traditional planning in Development Cooperation. This research contributes with a model to lead International Cooperation projects for developing governance. This model is characterized by a leadership of public sector; an innovation in the public sector management; and a mix planning model between Politics Analysis and Social Learning. Finally, as the model was validated by two International Cooperation projects focused in sectorial objective, this model could have a wide application in Development programs in Peru.

Al igual que otras asignaturas pero quizás de manera más pronunciada las matemáticas, están viendo reducidos en gran medida sus créditos en los nuevos planes de estudios. Por ello, ofertar acciones que posibiliten alcanzar competencias relacionadas con esta y otras ciencias básicas resulta de gran utilidad. Con este propósito, desde el Grupo de Innovación Educativa de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid “Pensamiento Matemático”, se ofrece a los alumnos un “Aula de Pensamiento Matemático”. En ella se presentan una serie de actividades on-line que permiten la capacitación de los alumnos en diversas competencias transversales, la mayoría relacionadas con el pensamiento matemático.

El objetivo de la presente investigación es analizar el proceso de implantación de la nueva gobernanza dirigido por diferentes actores, en contextos rurales de Chiapas, México, que permita generar aportes conceptuales y propuestas de acción pública para su gestión. En la presente investigación se desarrollaron tres estudios de caso con un enfoque comparativo. Cada caso tuvo un actor diferente que dinamizó el proceso, en el primero fue el privado empresarial, en el segundo la sociedad civil y en el tercero el gobierno local. Lo registrado en la presente investigación señala que la nueva gobernanza no se acota a lo definido por organismos externos al territorio y tampoco se arriba a través de una sola ruta, se estructura fundamentalmente por lo que los mismos actores locales trabajen mediante un proceso de aprendizaje social en su definición y proceso de cambio según sus elementos socio-culturales. La nueva gobernanza dirigida por la sociedad civil es quien tuvo los mejores resultados respecto a los casos guiados por la iniciativa privada y el gobierno local. Sin embargo, es este último actor quien tiene las mayores posibilidades de detonar los procesos de nueva gobernanza en la mayoría de los contextos territoriales para dar paso a la sociedad civil o la iniciativa privada que posibiliten la sostenibilidad de los procesos en el largo plazo. The purpose of the current research is to analyze the new governance implantation process directed by different actors, in the rural contexts of Chiapas, México which will permit to generate conceptual contributions and public action proposals for its management. In the current research three case studies were developed each one based on comparative focus. Each case had a different actor which put into effect such process. In the first case it was private business, in the second the civilian society and in the third the local government. The information that was registered in the current research points out that the new governance do not encloses to elements defined by those organisms which are external to the territory and neither arrives through a single pathway; it is fundamentally structured and for this reason the same local actors work through a social learning process in its definition and change process in accordance to the socio-cultural elements. The new governance which is directed by the civilian society is the one that had the best results regarding the cases that were guided by the private sector and the local government. Nevertheless, this last actor is the one who had the best chances to trigger the new governance processes in most of the territorial contexts yielding the civilian society or private business to enable the long term processes sustainability.

A mobile ad hoc network MANET is a collection of wireless mobile nodes that can dynamically configure a network without a fixed infrastructure or centralized administration. This makes it ideal for emergency and rescue scenarios where information sharing is essential and should occur as soon as possible. This article discusses which of the routing strategies for mobile ad hoc networks: proactive, reactive and hierarchical, have a better performance in such scenarios. Using a real urban area being set for the emergency and rescue scenario, we calculate the density of nodes and the mobility model needed for validation. The NS2 simulator has been used in our study. We also show that the hierarchical routing strategies are beffer suited for this type of scenarios.

Esta investigación presenta un modelo de gestión para el ámbito público local enmarcado en la Nueva Gestión Pública que aboga por una gestión más eficaz, eficiente y transparente, y que pone el acento en la consideración del administrado como cliente y en las capacidades gerenciales y de liderazgo de los directivos públicos por encima de la función burocrática clásica. Asumiendo el concepto de comunidad política, en el que los ciudadanos y los gobernantes son corresponsables de la concertación política y social, y se pone en valor el conocimiento de la sociedad civil para la toma de decisiones, este modelo se expresa a través de un plan de acción para el desarrollo local que incorpora la estrategia empresarial “gestión por proyectos”, entendidos éstos como todos los proyectos que recogen las necesidades e ideas de los afectados, y que de alguna manera contribuyen al cambio o ayudan a transformar la realidad para la mejora de la calidad de vida. La realidad objeto de estudio que inspira este modelo es el primer plan de inversiones llevado a cabo en los distritos madrileños de Villaverde y Usera. Las características propias de este plan fueron la voluntad y la habilidad de los poderes públicos para transformar una movilización social reivindicativa en un proceso de planificación como aprendizaje social, integrando a los ciudadanos en un innovador sistema de gestión de responsabilidad compartida. El resultado fue considerado un éxito, ya que se cumplió el objetivo de reequilibrio social y económico de ambos distritos con el conjunto de la ciudad de Madrid, gracias a las infraestructuras y equipamientos construidos, y a los programas sociales implementados. De hecho, al concluir el plan, los problemas que originaron la movilización social apenas tenían relevancia: droga (5%), falta de equipamientos (3%) y baja calidad de vida (5%). A raíz del aprendizaje de esta experiencia desarrollada durante el período 1998‐ 2003, se construyó una metodología de actuación que se ha materializado en los actuales Planes especiales de actuación en distritos y Planes de Barrio de la ciudad de Madrid. Las evaluaciones realizadas hasta ahora determinan que se está logrando una homogeneización territorial en la oferta municipal de bienes, servicios y equipamientos públicos, lo que contribuye a una mayor equidad económica y social, en definitiva, a una mejor calidad de vida. ABSTRACT This research presents a management model for the public sector local framed in the New Public Management that advocates a public management more effective, efficient and transparent, and that puts the accent on the consideration of the citizen as client and in managerial and leadership skills of public managers over the classic bureaucratic function. Embracing the concept of political community, in which citizens and governments are jointly responsible for the political and social dialogue, and highlights the knowledge of the civil society to the decision‐making, this model is expressed through an action plan for local development that incorporates the business strategy "management by projects', understood these as all the projects that reflected the needs and ideas of those affected, and that in some way contribute to the change or help to transform the reality for the improvement of the quality of life. The reality which is subject of study and inspires this model is the first investment plan carried out in the districts of Madrid Villaverde and Usera. The characteristics of this plan were the will and the ability of the public authorities to transform a social mobilization in a planning process as social learning, integrating to citizens in an innovative system of management of shared responsibility. The result was considered a success, since the target was met for social and economic balance of the two districts with the whole of the city of Madrid, thanks to the built infrastructure and equipment, and the social programs implemented. In fact, at the end of the plan, the problems that led to the social mobilization had little relevance: drugs (5 %), lack of equipment (3 %) and low quality of life (5 %). As a result of learning from this experience developed during the period 1998‐ 2003, was built a methodology of performance which has been materialized in the current plans for special action in districts and plans of neighborhood of the city of Madrid. The evaluations conducted until now determine that the plans are achieving a territorial homogenization in the municipal supply of goods, services and public facilities, which contributes to a better economic and social equity, ultimately, to a better quality of life.

By selecting a real urban area for the emergency and rescue scenario, we calculated the density of nodes and the mobility model needed for the validation study of AODV, DSDV and CBRP in the routing model. The NS2 simulator has been used for our study. We also show that the hierarchical routing strategies are better suited for this type of scenarios.

It is impossible to talk about planning as a scientific meta-discipline without mentioning one of the most influential worldwide figures in the second half of the twentieth century: John Friedmann. His contribution to the planning concept on his "Planning as Social Learning" theory is still very relevant. This paper shows the intellectual connection between Friedmann and Angel Ramos and Ignacio Trueba, two of the Spanish intellectual drivers in the engineering project knowledge area, who contributed to founding the Engineering Projects Spanish Association. The three of them share a broad vision of the project and abandon the "blue print" planning model. They also see the project as a transformational tool that requires a different planning style to the one which prevailed in the 70s - both in public and private domains. They were pioneers in structuring Knowledge / Action in a different way, both in academic institutions where disciples helped to bring about change- and with direct action via projects.

El desarrollo como política de las naciones marca el período de la postguerra, que en América Latina se concreta en múltiples programas de Desarrollo Rural. El modelo inicial de crecimiento económico se va enriqueciendo con visiones centradas en el ser humano y sus múltiples concepciones de desarrollo. En este entender el desarrollo desde la diversidad cultural y antropológica de los pueblos de América Latina, surge la comunicación radiofónica como camino común para la persuasión, socialización y apropiación colectiva de conocimientos y ámbito participativo para consensuar objetivos y acordar actividades. El activismo de los años setenta y ochenta produjo un número considerable de experiencias. La mayoría de ellas han llegado hasta nuestros días, pero el giro tomado por las sociedades digitalizadas y las prioridades medioambientales han dado un nuevo rostro a aquellas primeras experiencias centradas en el desarrollo rural endógeno. Este estudio investiga el complejo práctico-teórico que integra comunicación y desarrollo en contextos territoriales interculturales con población marginal y aplicación de políticas de desarrollo rural. En el capítulo I se recogen las modalidades de cómo se ha aplicado la comunicación en programas de desarrollo, para profundizar en el concepto de comunicación para el desarrollo, conocer sus actores y resultados, y concluir que el desarrollo “con rostro humano” se hace con personas no con políticas oficiales. El capítulo II presenta a los Pueblos Indígenas de la Sierra Ecuatoriana como actores de su proceso de desarrollo hacia el Sumak Kawsay. Los temas tratados en este capítulo muestran los valores y capacidades de las comunidades indígenas de la Sierra Ecuatoriana para la autogestión de su desarrollo, y deja constancia y denuncia de la lectura negativa que se ha venido haciendo de su cosmovisión. Se encuentra respuesta conceptual y metodológica en el Workng With People para optimizar aportes culturales de los Pueblos Indígenas al proceso comunicacional y participativo para mejorar las condiciones de vida y lograr mayores espacios de autonomía y libertad El conocimiento que explica la realidad sin cambiarla no tiene sentido para los pobres. La realidad requiere ser comprendida para construir el conocimiento que la explique y la cambie: ese es el aporte del modelo conocimiento/acción que se presenta en el capítulo III. En este capítulo se exponen metodologías abiertas a la creatividad y flexibles que responden a los principios del modelo conocimiento/acción. La comunicación para el desarrollo se abre a todas ellas como ágora pluricultural que requiere un lenguaje común que se construye desde el aprendizaje social. Los conceptos expuestos en el capítulo III se vinculan en una propuesta metodológica que integra el conocimiento y la acción con los principios del Working With People, propuesta que se expone en el capítulo IV. El modelo del Proyecto de Comunicación para el Desarrollo junta en un modelo de comunicación popular y prácticas liberadoras con métodos cognitivos de la realidad para planificar el cambio desde la población y con la población. Finalmente, el capítulo V recoge la experiencia de la Casa Campesina Cayambe ejecutora del Proyecto de Comunicación para el Desarrollo en la adaptación ejecutada con Radio Mensaje. La riqueza de la experiencia tiende a escaparse de los límites conceptuales y los esquemas dejan espacios de vida ignotos; pero los conceptos y esquemas constituyen el camino para que la experiencia pase a ser objeto conocido y conocimiento socializado. El Proyecto de Comunicación para el Desarrollo es resultado de un proceso de desarrollo construido desde la acción de la Casa Campesina Cayambe durante 25 años en Cayambe. En el capítulo V se describe el contexto del territorio de Cayambe, la identidad de la Casa Campesina Cayambe y de Radio Mensaje, y termina describiendo los logros de 25 años trabajando con la gente. El estudio concluye que la comunicación participativa, como ámbito de aprendizaje social aplicado en procesos de desarrollo rural, integra el conocimiento/acción e incorpora nuevos conocimientos en la población con los que se desarrollan competencias locales para planificar el desarrollo endógeno con flexibilidad y de abajo-arriba. La Figura 0-1 grafica los elementos bases sobre los que se construye el proceso de desarrollo. ABSTRACT Development as a policy of nations marks the postwar period which created several Rural Development Programs in Latin America. The initial model of economic growth was enriched with approaches focused on human beings and their multiple conceptions of development. In this regard, the development from cultural and anthropological diversity in Latin America, radio communication emerges as a common means for persuasion, socialization and collective appropriation of knowledge and scope for participation in order to agree on objectives and activities. Activism of the seventies and eighties generated a considerable number of experiences, most of which are present today. However, a turn taken by digitalized societies and environmental priorities has given those first experiences which focused on endogenous rural development a new face. This study researches the theoretical-practical status that integrates communication and development in intercultural contexts with marginal population and the use of rural development policies. Chapter one shows the modalities of how communication in development programs have been applied to deepen the concept of communication for development, to know those who are involved and its findings, and conclude that development “with a human face” is done with people not with official policies. Chapter two presents Indigenous communities in the Ecuadorian highlands, as people involved in their development process towards Sumak Kawsay. The topics in this chapter show the values and capacities indigenous communities in the Ecuadorian highlands have to self-manage their development, and proves, as well as denounces, that their cosmovision has been negatively perceived. A conceptual and methodological response is found in Working With People in order to optimize cultural contributions of Indigenous People to the communicational and participative process to improve life conditions and have greater spaces of autonomy and freedom. Knowledge which explains reality without changing it does not make any sense for the poor. Reality need to be understood in order to build the knowledge that will explain it and change it: that is the contribution of the knowledge/action model presented in chapter three. This chapter presents open methodologies to creativity which are flexible to respond to the principles of the knowledge/action model. Communication for development is open to all of them as pluricultural agora which requires a common language that is built from social learning. The concepts presented in chapter three are linked in a methodological proposal which integrates knowledge and action with principles of Working With People, proposal which is presented chapter four. The model of the Communication for Development Project includes popular communication elements and liberating practices with cognitive methods of reality to plan change from the population and with the population. Finally, chapter five presents the experiences from the Cayambe Country House, which conducted the Communication for Development Project in the adaptation implemented with Radio Mensaje. The wealth of experience tends to scape from the conceptual limits and the schemes leave gaps of unexplored life; but the concepts and schemes constitute the way so that experience becomes a known object and socialized knowledge. The Communication for Development Project is the result of a development process built from the actions of the Cayambe Country House during 25 years in Cayambe. Chapter five describes the context of Cayambe, the identity of the Cayambe Country House and Radio Mensaje, and the achievements after 25 years of working with its people. The study concludes that participatory communication, as an area of social learning applied to rural development processes, integrates knowledge/action and incorporates new knowledge in communities to develop local competencies to plan endogenous development with flexibility and from the bottom – up.

La extensión agraria entendida como transferencia de tecnología que tuvo su auge en la llamada Revolución Verde, con el paso del tiempo empezó a mostrar serias deficiencias en su objetivo de lograr que los agricultores asumieran las nuevas tecnologías, esto motivo un continuo trabajo de investigación en el área que ha generado una serie de modelos y enfoques. Sin embargo, a pesar que mucho ha cambiado, aún no se logra responder adecuadamente a la necesidad de cambio e innovación que tienen los pequeños productores de los países en desarrollo. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo proponer un modelo para el desarrollo de la producción agrícola en el marco de un trabajo integrado sobre el territorio. Para esto se ha analizado los cambios referentes a los procesos de desarrollo rural y como éstos han impactado directamente en la forma en la que se concibe la extensión. En este recorrido podemos ver con claridad cómo los procesos de desarrollo que partían de un modelo exógeno, van cediendo a procesos endógenos y neo-endógenos, en donde el territorio tiene un valor fundamental. Se plantea que tanto la globalización como el Cambio Climático constituyen nuevos desafíos para el desarrollo rural. Posteriormente, en el análisis de la extensión agropecuaria en el mundo, se ha podido observar como la extensión ha ido cambiando hacia procesos más participativos y horizontales, introduciéndose en ella también los conceptos de innovación y de sistemas, como la posibilidad de comprender su complejidad. Al hacer el recorrido de la Extensión Agraria en el Perú se puede visualizar como, al igual que en el mundo, tuo un periodo de apogeo pero seguido de un periodo de crisis que terminó por eliminarla del espacio público. Actualmente los servicios de extensión en el Perú se manejan por entidades privadas, gobiernos locales y proyectos especiales, pero ninguno de ellos llega realmente al pequeño productor, que constituye la población más importante en países como el Perú. Este trabajo plantea un modelo para responder a este contexto, el cual se basa en tres enfoques de diferentes ámbitos: el Desarrollo Económico Local, El metamodelo WWP (Working with people) y los sistemas de innovación agrícolas. El modelo plantea un trabajo en cuatro componentes a señalar: (1) Planificación basada en herramientas técnicas y entendida como aprendizaje social, (2) Fortalecimiento del Capital Social ya existente, (3) Servicios de extensión con nuevas tecnologías y (4) Acompañamiento a los productores en el mercado. En este modelo, una consideración muy especial la tiene la entidad articuladora o bróker del presente sistema, el cual es una entidad que se encarga de activar y mantener el sistema, tomando en consideración la importancia del fortalecimiento de las redes sobre el territorio. La aplicación de este modelo se realizó en cuatro distritos de la provincia de Aymaraes (Región Apurimac) que se encuentran formando parte de la cuenca del Río Pachachaca. Para verificar la idoneidad del modelo en el fortalecimiento de las actividades agropecuarias, se realizó un análisis de una línea de base y de una línea de salida, estableciendo una serie de indicadores. Se realizó también un análisis ex – post para determinar las posibilidades de sostenibilidad del modelo. Se concluyó luego de la aplicación que el modelo tiene una serie de condiciones importantes para la eficacia y la sostenibilidad de los procesos de desarrollo de las actividades agropecuarias, aunque es necesario establecer algunos requisitos básicos para el funcionamiento de la propuesta, tales como la presencia de un actor que pueda actuar como articulador y la necesidad de trabajar a un nivel provincial en lugar de local. ABSTRACT Throughout time, agricultural extension, understood as technology transfer, that had its peak during the Green Revolution, began to show serious deficiencies in its goal of making farmers assume the new technologies. This created continuous research in the area that has generated a number of models and approaches. However, although much has changed, yet it fails to respond adequately to the need for change and innovation that small producers of developing countries have. This study aims to propose a model for the development of agricultural production in the framework of an integrated work on the territory. For this purpose, this research analyzed the changes related to rural development processes and how they have directly impacted on how the extension is conceived. On this tour it can be clearly seen how the development processes that started from an exogenous model, are giving way to neo-endogenous and endogenous processes, where the territory has a fundamental value. It is proposed that both globalization and climate change pose new challenges for rural development. Later in the analysis of agricultural extension in the world, it has been observed how the extension has been changing towards more participatory and horizontal processes, also introducing in it the innovative and systems concepts, as well as the ability to understand its complexity. When making the path of the agricultural extension in Peru, it can be seen how, same as it happened in the world, it had peak period that was followed by a crisis that eventually eliminated it from the public space. Currently, the extension services in Peru are managed by private entities, local governments and special projects, but none of them actually reach the small producer, who represents the most important population in countries like Peru. This paper proposes a model to respond to this context, which is based on three approaches of different areas: Local Economic Development, WWP metamodel (Working with people) and the agricultural innovation systems. The model presents a work in four parts to note: (1) Planning based in technical tools and understood as social learning, (2) Strengthening of the existing social capital, (3) Extension services with new technologies and (4) Support of producers in the market. In this model, special consideration is given to the coordinating entity or broker of this system, which is an entity that is responsible for activating and maintaining the system, taking into account the importance of strengthening networks in the territory. The application of this model was conducted in four districts of the Aymaraes province (Apurimac Region) which are part of the Rio Pachachaca watershed. To verify the suitability of the model in strengthening agricultural activities, an analysis of a baseline and a starting line was made, establishing a series of indicators. An analysis ex-post was also performed to determine the possibilities of sustainability of the model. After the application it was concluded that the model has a number of important conditions for the effectiveness and sustainability of development processes of agricultural activities, although it is necessary to establish some basic requirements for the operation of the proposal, such as the presence of an actor who can act as an articulator and the need to work at a provincial level rather than locally.
