The legality of an extension of the term of time of a patent when for the good of a state; and the just views and claims of patentees in steam navigation fully explained.

Pages 29-34 contain "Mr. Duer's opinion on the claim of Mr. Sullivan as a patentee, to navigate with steam boats, the waters of the state of New-York."
