The thesis was read, with some changes, before the Friends' Educational Association of Ohio Yearly Meeting of Friends', held 9th month, 9th 1917; at a meeting of the same Association, held 12th month, 29th, 1917, a committee was appointed to have it printed in pamphlet form for general circulation.
