PROFESSORES DE LÍNGUA EM FORMAÇÃO E O /R/ RETROFLEXO: UM ESTUDO SOBRE ATITUDES LINGUÍSTICAS

This work's goal is identifies the linguistics attitudes that the linguist teachers which still in formation, manifests concerning retroflex /r/ present in the particular Portuguese that are speak in Ponta Grossa. Methodologically, it was a qualitative research through which we made interviews with two representatives of every year of the course, that lasts four years. The results show that the pronounced of the retroflex variant /r/ is stigmated by the participants, that shows in they attitudes elements of the public speech about the language (SCHLIEBEN-LANGE, 1993,) which is marked by evaluative questions and linguistics stereotypes.

O objetivo deste trabalho é o de identificar as atitudes linguísticas que professores de língua em formação manifestam em relação ao /r/ retroflexo presente na variedade de língua falada na região de Ponta Grossa. Metodologicamente, realizamos uma pesquisa qualitativa, por meio da qual efetuamos entrevistas com dois representantes de cada ano do curso, que dura quatro anos. Os resultados da pesquisa demonstraram que a pronúncia da variante retroflexa é estigmatizada pelos participantes, que revelaram em suas atitudes elementos do discurso público sobre a língua (SCHLIEBEN-LANGE, 1993), o qual é marcado por questões avaliativas e estereótipos linguísticos.
