Estudo das implicações de um software educativo – EdiLim – no processo de ensino e de aprendizagem no 1.º ciclo do ensino básico : relatório de estágio

Relatório de Estágio apresentado à Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco para cumprimento dos requisitos necessários à obtenção do grau de Mestre em Educação Pré-escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.

As Tecnologias da Informação e da Comunicação (TIC) estão cada vez mais presentes no dia-a-dia da sociedade atual. É fundamental que os estabelecimentos escolares e os seus diferentes mediadores valorizem as tecnologias e promovam a sua utilização nos diferentes contextos, para que esta utilização se torne sistemática e devidamente fundamentada. Desta forma, cabe ao professor enquanto orientador, mediar a relação existente entre os alunos e as TIC no âmbito do processo de ensino e de aprendizagem. A investigação realizada pretendeu verificar quais as implicações da utilização de um software educativo – EdiLim- no processo de ensino e de aprendizagem com alunos do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico (1.º CEB). Para o efeito, os principais objetivos desta investigação foram os seguintes: promover as Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC), em contexto de sala de aula; utilizar um software educativo - EdiLim - no processo de ensino e de aprendizagem; investigar quais as potencialidades do recurso educativo digital – EdiLim – na promoção de aprendizagens mais ativas e significativas. A implementação da investigação referida decorreu durante a realização da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada no 1.º CEB (PES-1.º CEB) com uma turma de alunos do 3º ano da Escola Básica Integrada João Roiz de Castelo Branco. A metodologia adotada para esta investigação apresentou um caráter qualitativo e, simultaneamente, uma abordagem que privilegiou a investigação-ação. A investigação foi baseada no trabalho de campo, que envolveu um grupo particular de alunos e a utilização de um software educativo, o EdiLim, no processo de ensino de aprendizagem, analisando e refletindo os resultados obtidos acerca das sessões de implementação com o software. Esta observação participante inclui para além da investigadora a Orientadora Cooperante e o «Par Pedagógico». As técnicas e instrumentos utilizados na recolha e análise dos dados foram a observação participante e as notas de campo, durante as sessões de intervenção, o inquérito por questionário, realizado aos alunos participantes e o inquérito por entrevista, com a respetiva análise de conteúdo, realizado a duas professoras do 1.º CEB. Foi, também, realizada a triangulação dos dados que possibilitou a perceção, em termos comparativos, de que a utilização do EdiLim veio promover aprendizagens mais ativas e significativas proporcionando o processo de ensino e de aprendizagem. Em suma, a utilização do software educativo EdiLim permitiu a realização de diferentes atividades, que conseguiram criar espaços e momentos lúdicos, onde os alunos se sentiram mais motivados e mais envolvidos.

Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) are increasingly present in the daily life of society. It is essential that the schools and their different mediators appreciate the technology and promote its use in different contexts, so that it becomes systematic use and properly fundamental. In this way, it is up to the teacher as supervisor, mediate the relationship between students and ICT within the teaching and learning process. Research intended to check what are the implications of the use of educational software – EdiLim - in the process of teaching and learning with students in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education (1st CBE). To this end, the main objectives of this investigation were as follows: to promote information and communication technologies (ICT), in the context of the classroom; use educational software – EdiLim – in the process of teaching and learning; investigate what is the potential of digital educational resource – EdiLim – in promoting more active and meaningful learning. The implementation of the research referred to took place during the Supervised Teaching Practice in the 1st CBE (STP-1st CBE) with a class of 3rd grade students of the Integrated Elementary School João Roiz of Castelo Branco. The methodology adopted for this investigation showed a qualitative character and, simultaneously, an approach that favors the action research. The investigation was based on fieldwork, which involved a particular group of students and the use of educational software, EdiLim, in the process of teaching and learning, analyzing and reflecting the results obtained concerning the implementation sessions with the software. This participant observation includes in addition to the researcher Cooperative Advisor and the «Educational Pair». The techniques and instruments used in data collection and analysis were the participant observation and field notes, during the intervention sessions, the survey questionnaire, carried out to participating students and the survey interview, with the respective content analysis, performed the two teachers of the 1st CBE. It was also held the triangulation of data that which allowed the comparative between the use of the EdiLim came to promote more active and meaningful learning and providing the teaching and learning process. In short, the use of educational software EdiLim enabled the realization of different activities, which managed to create spaces and playful moments, where students felt more motivated and more involved.
