Diálogo é uma modalidade de discurso que tem sido investigada em algumas áreas tais como a Lingüística Cognitiva, Psicologia cognitiva e a Inteligência Artificial. A relação entre o discurso e a realidade constitui um aspecto importante dessas investigações. A partir da perspectiva de diálogo de Bohm (1996), o artigo discute a relação acima citada para se obterem as pressuposições para a delimitação da atividade dialógica e da maneira como se dá sua modelagem lógica.

Abstract Dialogue is a modality of discourse that has been investigated by many areas such as Cognitive Linguistics, Cognitive Psychology and Artificial Intelligence. The relationship between discourse and reality consists of an important aspect of these investigations. From Bohm’s (1996) perspective of dialogue, the article discusses the aforementioned relation and tries to come up with the presupposed conditions for the delimitation of dialogue and of the way on which dialogue is logically modelled.
