Turandot in Schiller’s and Brecht’s Dramas

| Resumo |
This paper aims to study the subject of Turandot in Friedrich Schiller’s Turandot, Prinzessin von China and Brecht’s Turandot oder Der Kongress der Weißwäscher. We will analyse both theatre adaptations, which have clearly influenced numerous authors through history, by addressing its intertextuality and originality. El presente trabajo analiza la materia de Turandot en Turandot, Prinzessin von China de Friedrich Schiller y Turandot oder Der Kongress der Weißwäscher de Bertolt Brecht. Analizaremos ambas adaptaciones teatrales, que han influido de manera notable en muchos otros autores, teniendo en cuenta la intertextualidad presente en los textos y su originalidad. |
