Resumo

Report published in the Proceedings of the National Conference on "Education and Research in the Information Society", Plovdiv, May, 2015

Economics and financial studies are demanding now more than even a sophisticated skills and knowledge in mathematics. That makes it challenging for students with a different background to get a profound knowledge in the details of complex models and theories that explain market movements and pricing of securities. However it is possible with a wide use of simulation methods and Monte Carlo to demonstrate very complex concepts in finance and economics.
