Report published in the Proceedings of the National Conference on "Education in the Information Society", Plovdiv, May, 2013 This article introduces group work as a teaching and learning strategy. It considers the process planning of group work, the role of the teacher and the process assessment of learners. Group work is a form of cooperative learning. It aims to handle individual differences, develop students' knowledge, generic skills (communication skills, collaborative skills, critical thinking skills) and attitudes.
