Resumo

The crystal structure of the Cu(II) perchlorate complex of a functionalised bis(rnacrocycle) ligand, where the individual macrocycle units are of the cyclam type and adopt the trans-III configuration, is analysed in terms of its possible relationship to those of bis(macrocycle) complexes possessing anti-viral activity.
