Binding: brown goatskin, tooled in blind and with seal of the United States Centennial Commission in gilt centered on each board. Edges of boards and turn-ins tooled in gilt. Page edges gilt. First folded map photo-lithographed by J. Bien. Woodcut views are by Van Ingen-Snyder after F.B. Schell. At head of title: United States Centennial Commission. International Exhibition. 1876. Mode of access: Internet. 2nd front free endpaper verso, 1st folding map, and t.p. stamped in purple: Burnet Landreth. Mounted on front free endpaper recto is table of offices held by Landreth, printed Sept. 1908. |
