The work contains, among other things, thirty dissertations of Du Cange on the history of Louis IX, called Saint Louis, by Joinville, with notes by the editor; also, historical documents, acts, charters, etc., and essays or treatises by C.F. Paullini, Leibnitz, Caselius, Boecler, Mevius, Köhler, Hahn (S.F.), Hildebrand (J. poëta), and others. There is an index of subjects to each part; and a full double index to all the parts at the close of the second volume.
