In 1943 the Referate were transferred to the Zentralblatt für Mineralogie, Geologie und Paläontologie. At the same time, Abt. In 1900 the publication of Centralblatt (later, Zentralblatt) für Mineralogie, Geologie und Paläontologie was begun to include some sections formerly included in Neues Jahrbuch für Mineralogie, Geologie und Paläontologie, such as "Brieflichen Mitteilungen" and "Neue Literatur."
