Printer's device on t.p. (compasses). The 2 plates and 3 in-text etchings depict Roman monuments. Four in-text woodcuts depict Latin inscriptions (one includes some Greek).

"Leodii ad D. Ioann. Evangelistae, Tabvla membranea, cuius fit mentio pag. 18"--P. 70-76. The document deals with Bishop Notger of Liège (d. 1008); see Voet. It is signed at the end by Hieronymus Scholierius, another of Ortelius's companions on the trip.
