Resumo

Dublin ed. of 1779 has t.p. statement, "By the author of The academick sportsman," a poem by Fitzgerald. Both poems were included in: Poems / by the Rev. Gerald Fitzgerald. Dublin, 1797. Cf. Nat. union cat., pre-1956 imprints.

In verse; supposedly an address from Berea, deposed queen of Tahiti, to Samuel Wallis, deploring the effect his visit had on the islanders; erroneously assigned to Wallis himself by Brit. Mus. Cat. and Halkett and Laing.
