This copy has a printed leaf inserted after the t.-p. containing a letter, in Latin, addressed to Pope Gregory XVI. presenting a copy of the work, with a letter of acceptance from the Pope's secretary, dated December 1, 1838 (2 p.) "Appendice sopra alcune biblioteche di Calabria" (p. [127]-215) and "Sulla topografia moutelionese: discorso" (p. [217]-239) have special title-pages, dated 1836.
