The Illinois Early Intervention Services Act required the Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) to submit to the Governor a five-fiscal year implementation plan and to annually report to the Governor and the General Assembly on the status of early intervention programs for eligible infants and toddlers and their families in Illinois. The Illinois Early Intervention program's mission is to assure that families who have infants and toddlers, birth to three, with diagnosed disabilities, developmental delays, or substantial risk of significant delays, receive resources and supports that assist them in maximizing their children's development. Report year ends June 30.
