Beginning with 1918 the Journal has been isssued in the following sections: v. 37- Transactions; v.37-41, Review (called also v. 1-4); v.42- Chemistry and industry (varies slightly; called also v. 1- ) and v. 37-44, Abstracts. The latter was superseded in 1926 by the British chemical abstracts, ser. B (later, British chemical and physiological abstracts, ser. B.)
