The association held only four meetings as a separate organization: 1st, Jan. 1913; 2d, Nov. 1913; 3d, Nov. 1914; 4th, Aug. 1915; the first three were held at Washington, D. C., the fourth at Berkeley, Calif. In 1915 it became the Division of engineering of the Section on college work and administration of the Association of American agricultural colleges and experiment stations, and as such (though still retaining its name) it held meetings in Nov. 1916, Nov. 1917, and Jan, 1919. Since Nov. 1919 it has been the Section of engineering of the Association of land-grant colleges and universities (a later name of the Association of American agricultural colleges and experiment stations).

The proceedings from 1916 on, have been published in Proceedings of the Association of land-grant colleges and universities.
