This monthly legal periodical, edited by Judge Timothy Walker, a professor of law in Cincinnati College, was to be devoted to law and its object was to gather from and diffuse among the lawyers of the "West" whatever was most noteworthy in their profession. Contents included notes on recent decisions, reports of recent and interesting cases, notices of new law books, biographical sketches of lawyers, letters, some poetry and anecdotes, and items on laws, law schools, and miscellaneous law-related information.

Vol. 6-10 also called new ser., v. 1-5.
