Engraved dedicatory page from a painting by Teniers is plate 1 dated 1658, calling the collection: Hoc Amphitheatrum pictuarum.

Teniers made copies of the paintings from which the engravings were executed.

Engraved armorial title vignette: coat of arms of Leopold Wilhelm held by putti.
