A summary of the 1st-15th reports, with brief contents may be found in the American journal of archaeology, 2nd ser., v.1, 1897, Appendix, p. 109-110.

Discontinued in separate form after the 15th report; the 16th-27th were published in the American journal of archaeology, 2nd ser., v.1-3 and suppl. to 2nd ser., v.4-12; beginning with the 28th they are included in the Bulletin of the Archaeological institute of America. There are, however, occasional separate issues distributed as propaganda; of these the LC has the "42nd annual report... 1922-1923"

The 1st-3rd reports were originally issued in the Annual report of the Archaeological institute of America, 3rd-5th, 1881/1882-1883/1884, and were afterwards reprinted separately (imp: v.76, 79 lacking ), 5th-6th reports issued together.
