Added, engraved half-title. Thompson, Ralph. American literary annuals, Mode of access: Internet. Housed in three-part wrap with green cloth spine. Black lacquered boards with brown gold blocked leather spine; rebacked with marbled calf, original spine leather preserved and reattached; pictorial covers decorated with bouquets of flowers; upper cover painted in gold, red, and green, inlaid with mother-of-pearl; lower cover painted gold; text edges gilt; stuck-on headbands of white textile appear to be original; non contemporary marbled endpapers.
