Literaturas do Próximo Oriente Antigo na Bíblia: origens, aliança e sabedoria

Este trabalho tem como objetivo o estudo comparativo e situacional entre alguns temas e livros bíblicos e temas semelhantes tratados pelas literaturas do Próximo Oriente Antigo, nomeadamente as sumérias, acádicas, ugaríticas e egípcias. Os mitos de origem são o tema do primeiro capítulo, sendo tratados, de seguida, temas como a aliança entre Yahweh e o povo de Israel, tal como é descrita nos livros do Êxodo e Deuteronómio e a respetiva comparação com os tratados de vassalagem hititas. A finalizar, é abordada a grande área da literatura sapiencial e a sua base humanista em todas as literaturas em apreço.

Abstract: The aim of this work is to make a comparative and contextual study between specific subjects addressed by biblical books and by Ancient Near Eastern texts - particularly the sumerian, akkadian, ugaritic and egyptian. The origin myths are discussed in the first chapter. Subsequently, themes such as the covenant between Yahweh and the Israel people, as it is described in the books of Exodus and Deuteronomy, as well as their respective comparison with the hittite vassal treaties are addressed. Finally, the large area of the wisdom literature and its humanistic basis are evaluated in the considered texts.
