A typical fatwa collection covering almost all aspects of law: prayers, ablution, alms, fasting, divorce, capital punishment, etc. Ottoman manuscript (Nesih style) written by the copyist Ibrāhīm b. Ibrāhīm in in black and red, with some gilt decoration, and with marginal notes in Turkish and Arabic. Ownership seal of Mehmed Rāşid: Tetimme-i kār-i Mehmed Rāşid elṭāf-i Hudā yāver (folio 2a) Bound in are five separate slips with manuscript fatwas written by Mehmed the Mufti of Sakız/Chios (after ff. 226b and 232b), by Piri Mehmed Efendi (after folio 310b), by Mehmed Es'ad (after folio 338b: three fatvās on the same slip of paper), and by Mehmed Pirizâde (after folio 353b) HLS MS 1402, Harvard Law School Library.
