Ownership statement on fol. 1 signed Muḥammad Amīn al-Sabtī al-Alūsī al-Anṣārī (?).

According to the colophon (f. 81r), copy completed on 4 Rabīʻ al-Thānī 1001 AH [January 7, 1593 AD] in the hand of Zayn al-ʻĀbidīn ibn Muḥammad al-Khaṭīb al-Adhkāwī (?).

Cream laid paper with watermarks. 21 x 15.1 cm. (14.5-16 x 10-10.5 cm.).

Written in several hand, in one column, from 13 to 20 lines per page, in black rubricated in red.

The book is preceded by some writings on divination (ff. 1r-14r).
