Written in one column, 19 lines per page, in black and red. Author's name appears on f. 1v as: Ḥusayn ibn Shihāb al-Dīn al-Shāmī al-ʻĀmilī. According to the colophon (f. 174r), copy completed in the hand of Muḥyī al-Dīn ibn ʻAbd al-Malik on 2 Ramaḍān 1114 AH [January 20, 1703 AD]. Two ownership seals on f. 1r: Muḥammad Bahādir Sayyid Nūr al-Din dated 1148 AH [1735 or 36 AD] and Muḥammad Bahādir Sayyid Quṭb al-Dīn dated 1163 AH [1749 or 50 AD].
