An ijāzah issued by Aḥmad Ḍiyāʼ al-Dīn ibn al-Ḥājj ʻAbd al-Raḥmān-zādah Muṣṭafá to ʻAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Maḥmūd al-Rifqī (?) for Qaṣīdat al-Burdah of al-Būṣīrī. Includes a Turkish section which explains how the Qaṣīdah should be read and for what purposes. Written in vocalized naskh, 15 lines per page, with catchwords. Text is framed within a golden line. Slightly illuminated headpiece (f. 1v). Paper. 18 x 12.5 cm. (11.7 x 6 cm.). Bound. Purple paper over boards. Red leather over spine and corners. Seal of Aḥmad Ḍiyāʼ al-Dīn on fol. 5v.
