Resumo

T.B. Jervis; the chinese characters and explanations rendered into English were furnished by Mr. Samuel Birch, from a comparison of the above documents and the notes appended to the original by the students in the Missionary College at Naples.

Dedication: "To Her Most Gracious Majesty the Queen. This fac-simile of a Chinese plan of the Tartar, or inner city, Nuyching, and the Imperial Palace Kingtoo of Peking or Chun Thein Foo. The northern residence of the court, or capital of the Chinese Empire is most respectfully inscribed, with Her Majesty's faithful servant T. B. Jervis."
