Arithmetic copybook containing mathematical rules, problems, proofs, and charts of weights and measures.

Manuscript in at least one unidentified cursive hand; signed Abraham Lincoln on multiple leaves. Other names signed on covers and on various leaves include, Mordecai, Ann[e] Boone, Mary Boone, Rachel Boone, Sarah Boone, James Cosgrave, and Cornelius Shea.

Two gatherings of different laid paper bound in limp hide covers.

In a protective case.

Abraham Lincoln (1736-1806) married Anne Boone and resided in Berks Country, Pennsylvania. He is the half-uncle of "Captain" Abraham Lincoln (1744-1786), who was the grandfather of President Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865).
