Resumo

Autograph manuscript sermons in the hand of William Adams, including table of contents. Three other pieces are by later hands: two (both 1695) by Samuel Danforth, and the last (undated) possibly by Eliphalet Adams, son of William Adams.

Includes bookplate of Alfred Mitchell.

William Adams was a 1671 graduate of Harvard College and served as pastor at Dedham, Mass. His son, Eliphalet Adams, was a H.C. graduate of 1694 and served as pastor of the church in New London, Conn. Samuel Danforth was a H.C. graduate of 1683 and served as pastor of the church of Taunton.
