Escenas de lectura en Margarita está linda la mar de Sergio Ramírez

Con un enfoque vinculado con el campo de la historia de la lectura, se analizan las escenas de lectura en Margarita está linda la mar (1998) del escritor nicaragüense Sergio Ramírez. Ese análisis permite visualizar ciertos modos de leer en la sociedad nicaragüense de la primera mitad del siglo XX. A partir de esta mirada, se muestra cómo la lectura constituye un principio constructivo de la novela misma, al tiempo que el tándem lectura / escritura confronta con los decires populares orales. Finalmente, a partir de la figura del maestro, se considerará la pertenencia social y cultural de las voces autorizadas para organizar los elementos de la cultura

By adopting an approach linked to the history of reading, this article analyzes some reading scenes in Nicaraguan Sergio Ramirez's novel Margarita está linda la mar (1998). The analysis allows us to visualize certain ways of reading prevalent in Nicaraguan society in the first half of the twentieth century. From this perspective, we show how reading becomes a constructive principle of the novel itself, while the tandem read / write is confronted with oral popular sayings. Finally, through the figure of the teacher, we shall consider the social and cultural belonging of voices authorized to organize the elements of culture
