El surgimiento de la agrupación HIJOS-La Plata : La discusión por quiénes son las víctimas del terrorismo de Estado

Este trabajo analiza el proceso de formación de HIJOS, organismo de derechos humanos que nuclea principalmente a los HIJOS de las "víctimas del terrorismo de Estado" acaecido en la Argentina durante la última Dictadura militar y el período inmediato anterior. A partir del análisis de las disputas por la membresía del grupo, se indaga cómo HIJOS ha reactualizado una discusión que cruza a todo el movimiento de derechos humanos: ¿quiénes son las víctimas del terrorismo de Estado? A su vez se analiza la ambivalencia que el grupo muestra frente a la noción de "víctima". Por un lado, reconocen que son víctimas y que sus padres lo han sido, y por el otro intentan distanciarse de esa noción por el carácter pasivo y despolitizado que supone

This paper analyzes the process of formation of HIJOS, a human rights organism that mainly gathers the children of "victims of state terrorism" which took place in Argentina during the last military dictatorship and the immediately previous period. From the analysis of the disputes over the membership of the group, we explore how this group has reactivated a discussion that has gone through all the human rights movement: who are the victims of state terrorism? At the same time, the ambivalence the group shows as regards the notion of "victim" is also analyzed. on the one hand they recognize that they are victims and that their parents have been too, and on the other hand they try to separate themselves from that notion because of the passive and depoliticized character it implies
