Mario Benedetti: Montevideo, una estética urbana

La narrativa de Mario Benedetti se ha caracterizado por una clara inclinación hacia el tema urbano. El escritor rastrea elementos de la cotidianidad y a través de ellos construye una estética del asfalto que se revela no sólo a nivel temático, sino mediante el lenguaje, la estructura de los relatos e incluso en el modo de ser de sus personajes.
