Um dos mais intrigantes fatos semânticos da língua árabe é a metátese, transposição de fonemas dentro de uma palavra, frequentemente com relação de sentido entre as formas metatéticas. In Arabic language there is one of the most intriguing semantic facts: metathesis, the generation of another word by transposition of phonemes within a word, often with relationship of meaning between metathetic forms.
